Harmanpreet Kaur | India captain: We batted really well, Thailand bowled quite well, not giving us easy runs. We really had to work hard. That partnership (between her and Jemimah) helped us to get a score on the board. When you're not playing a lot, you need runs to get confidence. She (Deepti) is someone who is willing to bowl at any stage. Having such a bowler always gives confidence. When you're getting around 150 on the board more often than not, it gives confidence. Whoever makes it to the final, we'll make plans.

Shafali Verma | Player of the Match: Lots of confidence (with the win). Wicket was good to bat, felt good. Smriti and Jemi also did well. We need to look at getting partnerships (regularly). Hope the weather stays good (for the final). I'm more confident about my game now, but will keep working. Always happy to contribute to the team.

A no-brainer result this. It was always going to be India's game and they have made short work of it to make it to the final on Saturday. Pakistan and Sri Lanka will battle it out for the other spot, and it's that game which is coming up next. Should obviously be a much closer game than this one was. Switch tabs to continue enjoying the coverage. Cheers!

Quite a one-sided contest and it's not come as a surprise. Thailand's batting was always going to have too much do. On pitches where 130-140 has been the par score, India's 148 was well above-par even for experienced batting line-ups, let alone Thailand's rookies who had no chance in the run chase barring a miracle. And that miracle never came.

Nashra Sandhu to Sanjeewani, OUT

Deceived completely by the turn to be stumped! Superb bowling from Sandhu. Tosses it up and lands it on a length just outside off. The flight enticed Sanjeewani down the track but the ball dipped, landed on one of the rough spots Athar Ali Khan mentioned at the pitch report and spun sharply past the outside edge to leave her stranded. Easy work for Muneeba behind.

Pakistan would be relatively happy with how the powerplay has shaped up. Not that Sri Lanka would be too dejected either.
