It's a big day for the defending champions as the final semifinal spot remains in suspense. The equation for Bangladesh is straightforward - beat UAE and they're through without any complications. Should they lose, it'll be Thailand who qualify. The tournament hosts do look like runaway favourites to get the job done but as we know, this format is simply unpredictable. Ask Pakistan who were stunned by Thailand earlier in this tournament. So, Bangladesh can't afford to be complacent. even though this looks like a potential one-sided contest on paper. The local crowd will be cheering them on and that should be a much needed boost in this must-win clash for them. Let's hope that we get a competitive game.
