Sneh Rana | Player of the Match: I enjoyed a lot, receiving this award after a long time. I get support from other bowlers, coach and captain. Whenever I get an opportunity, I utilise it wisely. I keep on focusing on my strengths. The confidence is high and we'll do better in the coming games.

A rain-marred thrilling contest saw Sri Lanka pip Bangladesh by 3 runs. But that was followed by a one-sided match which ended quickly. Three teams (India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka) are through to the semis. If Bangladesh beat UAE, the hosts progress to the next round, otherwise Thailand will become the fourth team to seal the SF spot. On that note, it's time to bid goodbye. Tune in tomorrow for another double header - the last two round-robin matches of the tournament. Cheers...

It's a big day for the defending champions as the final semifinal spot remains in suspense. The equation for Bangladesh is straightforward - beat UAE and they're through without any complications. Should they lose, it'll be Thailand who qualify. The tournament hosts do look like runaway favourites to get the job done but as we know, this format is simply unpredictable. Ask Pakistan who were stunned by Thailand earlier in this tournament. So, Bangladesh can't afford to be complacent. even though this looks like a potential one-sided contest on paper. The local crowd will be cheering them on and that should be a much needed boost in this must-win clash for them. Let's hope that we get a competitive game. On that note, it's a warm welcome to the Cricbuzz Comm Box for the final day of the league stages. It's a double-header, although the next game is a dead rubber. For now, it's all about this game. Toss and teams will be up shortly.

Unfortunately, it's raining in Sylhet and the covers remain in place. Weather has been gloomy since early morning and it's quite murky overhead. We're in for a delay.

It is still raining and the toss delayed due to rain

Nothing much to update as it continues to rain heavily in Sylhet and the prospect of having a game looks bleak at this point, at least as far as this match is concerned. Remember, in case of a washout,Bangladesh will be eliminated and Thailand will qualify.
