Hello and welcome to game 19 of the Women's T20 Asia Cup. It's table-toppers India facing off against Thailand, placed fourth on the table, in Sylhet.

India and Sri Lanka, who beat Bangladesh in the first game of the day, and Pakistan have advanced to the semi-finals. Thailand, who are on six points from five matches, will be keen to cement that last spot. If today's match gets washed out, Thailand will be through and Bangladesh would be knocked out.

India Women opt to bowl .

India Women have won the toss and have opted to field

India, the tournament favourites, won three on the trot before losing one to Pakistan. But they came back strongly with an emphatic 59-run win over the defending champions. Having already progressed to the semis, India could rest some of their important fixtures. Thailand, on the other hand, are currently placed fourth on the points table. They lost their first two games but have won three on the bounce including a historic victory against Pakistan. How will they fare against the table-toppers?

We just witnessed a thriller in a rain-marred encounter where Sri Lanka beat the hosts Bangladesh by 3 runs. Three semifinal spots have been booked - India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Who'll seal the remaining spot - Thailand or Bangladesh? Well, a win today for Thailand will guarantee them a SF spot. If not, they'll have to hope for an UAE win against the hosts tomorrow.
