Nothing much to update as the rain continues to fall. Covers remain firmly in place.
10:18 Local Time, 04:18 GMT, 09:48 IST: Rain stops play with 11 balls left to complete the innings. There was a drizzle early on as well, but the rain is heavier on this occasion. The covers are brought on. Jahanara Alam provided the early breakthrough by removing Chamari Athapaththu with a beautiful delivery. Post that, the five Bangladesh spinners never allowed the Sri Lankan batters to get going - thanks to the low bounce. Even the fielders backed up the good work by the bowlers and that meant the pressure was always on

11:28 Local Time, 05:28 GMT, 10:58 IST: Well, you guessed it. The rain is back and it's reasonably heavy too. Looking bleak at the moment.
11:07 Local Time, 05:07 GMT, 10:37 IST: The rain has stopped. Appears to be a tad brighter too. The umpires are having a chat with the groundstaff. It's said that this ground has good drainage, so there is some hope for this game to be completed. To state the obvious, Sri Lanka's innings is all but done and it should now be about how many overs Bangladesh get to face in the chase. These are all speculations though, we should have an official word soon.

My question is, will they share a point each if there is no further play?
In that case, BD will be at a disadvantage.
It seems it is another suspense thriller !!
