I hope they atleast mention him. It would be a great disservice to Dinesh sir if they don't even acknowledge Freddy in the show
My Suggestions for CID Episodes
As I'm watching CID from 2010 to present, here are some of my humble suggestions:
1. First of all, make a decent concluding episode to Eye Gang.
2. No more flirting or romance or jokes in the forensic lab.
3. Include some good energetic officers in the CID Team. the Trio has become old. They need some assistance from the young officers for the operations.
4. Give more importance to Script rather than characters. Fans may get angry, but these so called fans will abandon the show, if the story gets boring.
5. Please solve single case per week rather than solving 3 cases per week.
6. Please exclude from the show: door breaking by Daya, repetition of dialogue by ACP.
Chances are vry low of any golden era Officer's comeback......i hope they they fulfil demands of fans and take back some officers like asha,sudhakar,vivek rajat etc
i hope this season's vibes would be better than pervious one as sony Already got Failed to make adaalat And crime petrol' s Next seasons good as first one 
But first of all i just pray promo woud have potential to set bars high of show Again in Today's so technologically advanced era and the Hard work of team and channel to Make show comeback on screens would not waste
CID Season 1 ( especially episodes from 2006 to 2011) will remain my favourite. I still watch that episodes from Youtube.
I have least hope in the Season 2 after watching the Promotion video.
CID was a family favourite Crime thriller (thanks to the absence of vulgarity, violent or sexual scenes). As the Show is taken over by the new Production house, they should keep that in mind while producing the episodes.
OK so my doubt was true. B.P. Singh is not producing this show anymore. But why? Is it because Pradeep Uppoor who produced the show alongside him passed away and thus Fireworks Productions disbanded? Is it because he’s busy producing another show Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gayi for Zee TV? Is it because Sony and him were arguing about the show ending six years back that’s why Sony is removing him? Whatever the reason is, this looks pretty concerning considering the efforts Singh made into making this show popular and what the new producers would do.
I wish they have a separate computer forensic person like Angela from Bones. Also, some solid forensic screenplays.
Romance, if shown must be sensibly shown. No flippant flirting or interference with the case. If it can't be done, better don't show at all. I really don't want any unnecessary blushing and cheesy lines. I wouldn't mind if for the sake of some light hearted scenes they want to add a good love story for any officer. Just don't want nibba nibbi type of a story.
Some conclusion for the Eye Gang. And a addition of a serial crime case would be good.
I seriously don't want to see the officers fighting with each other. Honestly the episodes where Daya/Abhijeet fought because of Shreya's marriage is something I don't want to see again. Disagreements can be shown with very less drama. We have daily soaps for those.
Something about Freddy. Any memory would be great.
Also please no body double of Daya/Abhijeet/ACP. That's been done too many times for my liking.
Playing with Abhijeet's brain isn't really interesting for me either.
But... To be honest, currently, I will definitely watch even if they don't give me any of my wishlist... Just happy to see this show back
When will it start tho.... I can't wait anymore
