Team CID visits Lata Mangeshkar
Guess what legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar does when she is not busy crooning some soulful songs in her mellifluous voice. Apart from watching music reality shows regularly, we have been informed that she follows CID , religiously.
She invited the actors from the TV show to congratulate them on completion of 1000 episodes, recently. Music composer Anu Malik was also present. She appreciates the acting chops of the entire CID team " Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, Dinesh Phadnis, Aditya Srivastava " and Ronit Roy (currently seen in Adaalat). She remembered that Ronit had appeared in an episode of CID and that's how he was invited. Says a source, "Lataji is an avid viewer of CID. She even said 'I can miss my meal but I don't miss a single episode of CID'. She made the entire CID cast sing songs."
Confirms Ronit, "Yes, it's true. I was honoured to be there."
