Murder is not equal to living in poverty

Why can’t writer’s understand this simple logic? They think by showing Meher and Sarab living in poverty it will create sympathy for them but one only needs to read the YouTube comments to know what a failure this idea is😆. Manav was an innocent person who was murdered because he truly loved a girl. Now that girl is like well I never really loved you 😆. This is why Manav has max sympathy and Sarab and Meher can live in poverty their whole life but it will not create the same sympathy because like I said nothing can equate to murder. There is a very simple solution for this in which Meher and Sarab need to be understanding and compassionate. Instead of acting like Manav is some evil and trashy person who can’t have Karan they should just say they understand he has equal rights on Karan and Karan is lucky who will have two fathers. Just give him equal rights to Karan. That is it. And then throw the murderers Kulwant and her sons in jail. That will create max appreciation for Sarab and Meher. Rather than being so stubborn about Karan. And stop trivialising murder😡.

One day they want meher and manav together.other day meher is a gold digger and selfish woman.nowadays they find aditi as the best partner for manav.They are even justifying aditi's acts..fed up with those comments

Meher clearly said to manav that she has moved on her life.She has every right to do that.

Manav also hasn't mentioned the idea of joint custody untill now.What if he just fled away along with the baby like the other day he did?And manav is not a saint. Manav as well as vikram deewan has done several mistakes

The makers of this show do not want to give the child to Manav. That is WHY all this senseless drama is being shown. If a proper custody case is done, they will have to show Manav getting legal rights. So to give Sarab a upper hand this is what the audience have to see. There is no justice for Manav. The makers have easily forgotten what happened with him and probably wants the audience to end the matter too. However, the audience is unable to let go with it. That is why the backlash on You Tube and many viewers are happy when someone tortures the lead couple.

I think many of us are not able to stomach this track because Meher/Sarab didn't need sympathy. They have all the sympathy in the world. Sarab has always been shown as a saint and Meher as a fearless "Jhansi ki Rani" that has overcome many obstacles for her family. On the other hand you have Manav. An innocent man who lost his love, and nearly his life, and was forced to sacrifice his entire identity. His life and love were both made into mockeries. He's desperately trying to hold on to his one reason to live. However, because the show always needs a villain, they decided to make a character that has faced so much injustice into the antagonist, while people who tried to harm or kill Sarab, Meher, Param, and Karan roam scott free. With honor killings being so prevalent in India, how can people digest showing a victim becoming a villain? How many Manavs have been slaughtered due to family opposition and never received justice? How many fathers have been unfairly denied access to their child? It's just a show, but it's not so detached from reality that people don't make connections between the show and society. They could've easily showed something more progressive and different by portraying a modern family with shared custody of a child. They could've invited Vikram and Aditi to live with them in Gill mansion so he could be close to Karan. Then the whole stupidity of inheritance and rights would also be solved. But no... we must show the rona-dhona and moral superiority of the protagonists.

Invite Vikram and Aditi to live in the house with them? You cant be serious on that point. And Manav could have gotten justice for his murder and Kulwant would have been pushed had he not helped her get out of prison.

why is Manav unstable? He will make a great dad. I agree with Aditi. Manav can’t throw Kulwant in jail because his mother has a heart condition and will learn Manav Isn’t her true son.

Great post. I agree they could have invited vikram and Aditi to live with them. Karan would have grown up with his real father and as Saint Sarab loves his sister Aditi so much it would have been ideal.

What's wrong with that? Wasn't Sarab showering love on his sister just a couple episodes ago? Vikram just wants to be close to Karan, he can do so easily if they all live together. And it's not like they're strangers, they're relatives. Do Harleen and her husband not also live in that house? Then what's wrong with Vikram and Aditi staying there? We know why Vikram helped Kulwant out of jail, she blackmailed him to tell his real identity to his mother... My point was this fiasco could've been avoided in the first place had they seriously entertained the idea of shared custody, and living in the same house would've enabled that.

Agree with all your points. The makers could have shown something progressive where Sarab Meher and karan Aditi share joint custody of karan and try to move on in life. But just for the sake of drama they are destroying a very well written show.

Aditi and Vikram can stay in Gill mansion I mean harleen is already staying but because of history there could be complications. Its better that they stay in their houses but share joint custody. But its a daily soap someone has to look bad and good people have to struggle.
