Manav found out by chance about his child. Would he not have been better off without this knowledge? Ignorance is bliss, they say...

Now he comes across and also uses words for himself that make him sound like a person straight out of a Greek tragedy - with no happy prospects. Simply because he came to know about the child and now keeps on insisting to get his rights.

BUT: who looks at the rights of the child???

Saturday it was International Child Rights Day, so it's appropriate to bring this up now!!

Sarab explained to Manav very properly (on 13 November, the day befor Diwali, when the Light is supposed to remove all evil) that Karan is much better off with Meher and him(Sarab) than with a person who (as I also wrote earlier) does not know how to handle the kid or even be in a position to take care of him properly.

And his arguments were enforced by the scene with the signing of the custody papers.

For Manav doesn't exist - and so does Vikram!!

Clearly, Manav/Vikram is a good person at heart. But the writers also made him a person of real intelligence as a CBI officer and not just a mere simple roti-rolling wala. And so, both his mind and his heart should make him see that the rights of his child are best protected by Meher and Sarab. And thus this storyline can end gloriously.

But - will the writers listen here too?

I disagree. Manav is the biological father of the child and Sarab and Mehers disgusting actions are stopping him knowing or raising his old child. How would you feel if you or someone close to you was put in that position. Of course he would raise his own son. He hasn’t even been given a chance.
