New Start Plus Serial Sanjivani as the prime competitor from next week

So I just saw the promo from 12th August the new serial Sanjivani 2 will debute at the 7:30 pm slot, and will be one of the prime competitor for this show.

Untill now we did not have any such tough competition with content on other channels at this slot. But with now Sanjivani launching next week, I really hope the Sarab-Meher bonding starts off soon.

I see that on Intsgaram there are a lot of young girls wanting Manav-Meher track, but frankly speaking from the story stand point, their love story has no dimension. They both love each other and that's it. Its the story of "two cannot fall in love individuals starting their journey together and then gradually falling for each other" that has depth and substance.

I really hope they start the Sarab- Meher bonding soon. Love is long way ahead, but at least some conversation, some start of a bond needs to be shown. I also miss Param - Meher scene. That angelic kid is literally worshiping his to be mom even without much interaction with her. Param's bond with his Meher Mummy is one of the most pure and selfless bonding in this show and also one of the show's USP. I hope they start utilizing this bond too.

I guess the release of the new fire promo is when the actual Sarab-Meher journey will start. Keeping the figures crossed.

Yea I’ve actually been watching the commercials for Sanjivani and didn’t realize it was going to be on the same time as Chotisardarni, until someone mentioned on twitter that it’s probably going to give competition to Chotisardarni in the trp race , which means let’s hope the creatives don’t start messing up our show too much.

I was actually kind of mad at the colorstv post on Instagram today and I even commented on it, why do they keep asking the same question over and over again, I thought the story was already set and that there was going to be no Manav so why does it keep coming up that who should Meher pick.Yes all these young girls want to see Manav and Meher together, I mean they showed nothing but romance between them so of course people of going to want to see them together, but I agree where is the story in that ? Quite frankly if that’s what everyone wants and the makers want to show, cuz clearly they want to bring Manav back, then I say neither, bring in a new character, a sweet bubbly girl who falls for Sarab and shares a special bond with Param, that’s what I would want to see. Meher, Manav and their baby can go live happily ever after somewhere in lalaland.

I seriously don’t know where thing are headed, Meher is in NO state for marriage, she is just a walking zombie, since the beginning of the show for her it’s just been Manav, Manav,Manav and I’m having a hard time even seeing if she ever is going to share a bond with Param and Sarab, she doesn’t even acknowledge them, even today when Kk was trying to take her ring off and Param was saying not to hurt his mom, she didn’t even look at him or anything, so I don’t know I’m just having a hard time seeing it and that poor little child worships her 😭, I get she’s going through a lot but at least look at the kid and smile or something.

I’ve read some gossip stories that say Meher will tell Sarab everything on their wedding night, I really hope that isn’t true, because that would be so unfair to Sarab, and that’s not what I want to see.Both Sarab and Param are so happy,Sarab was so genuinely happy and dancing today, I actually feel bad for them. 😭

Hey Payal, I second everything you say. I strongly believe that Sarab and Param are a very important part of this story, and they will get their due importance. And it is just this hope that is keeping me glued to the show.

Meher's zombie act is now starting to get on my nervous, especially when I see the star eyed param being ignored by Meher. And Sarab, OMG can that man be any more adorable. The way he respects Meher, even if he is upfront in saying he cannot love her, the way he cares and respects her is such #hubbygoals. I just hope the markers dont divert from their story and bring back Manav at this point and screw the story.

I have this instinct that Manav might be back back a bit later to either play a villian and further make our True hero Sarab stand out (high changes of this track in ITV)or just to give Meher a proposer closure and free her from the guilt help her move on with Sarab ( I dont think ITV show will go this route, TRP aunties wont digest this🤪).

But for now the makers need to bring back some sense and life into Meher's character. She needs to develope some amount of spine.🤓 This show is getting very depressing to watch. I'm just watching it for Sarab and the cutie Param. Kevina who plays Param just lights up the screen when she is on screen 😊

Hai buddies,read entire comments,and completely agree with you buddies,my view is like its Meher who with consiousness accepted to marry Sarabjeet and even to save her child from her killer mom,she confessed her wish for marr to Sarab,that too Sarab genuinely expressed his wish towards second marr, after all this again and again showing Meher always not in sense, sometimes she feels morning sickness and move away from function,or she gets irritation and runs away from haldi then KK brought her back saying stories,or she vl lost in thoughts of Manav and will leave from home and once again some family member is needed to bring her back to sense and in all these scenerio Meher needs Manav,to make her sit in function,only if she dreams about Manav's presence she vl atten function,she never think whoever is present in function and what is going around her and if KK talks about her child then for sure Meher vl come to sense,in whatever situation she may be......Always showing female lead like robo,that too in all good occasion of show,irritates me,for this the track may be like she try to confess her past atleast not completely to Sarab,the track might be intresting,if not confess,she might think about it once,how it vl be for a man who is not known to her,respects her to core(but for this Meher should be in sense first),and he has been cheated repeatedly by her and her family,even she didnt do intensionally its kind of cheating only na.Then coming to Sarab(even i like Avi a lot,sorry to his lovers),thy said him like talented,honest and humble politician,eventhough he has high status,he character is down to earth,after saying all these,cant he see and understand a girl's reaction who sit close to him during engagement,whatever happens she sit like a doll,never turn to Sarab while he ask for her hand,never turned to KK,While she pull off the ring,never turned to Param,when he supported her and gives a vague sad expression,eventhough KK manages,cant even Sarab feels something is fissy with Meher,how can he too sit quiet and Harleen who is shown too much of attitude and have great love towards her bro too trust whatever KK says. Then where is his PA,who looks like mentor to him is missing,becoz if he is present then atleast he might say about Manav's sudden disappearance.

Then coming to major Melodrama,how a cunning lady like KK think,if Marr happens then all get settled,becoz her daughter is in state,who always need monitoring for 24/7,so after marr,when she goes to Sarab's house,will KK and his two idiotic sons will also join Meher as dowry and monitor her in Sarab's house too..

In this stry track,i dont found any suspense,instead i found lot of question marks???,where track is tooo tooo tooo away from reality.

When thy showed and big eloborated episodes of Manav's death after that even thy are showing Manav and Meher romance in all occasions,and Meher completely lost in thoughts of Manav and she cant hear whatever Sarab or Param speaks,and Sarab thinks,its girl feel of shy before Marr.Better for this track,let them keep Manav alive and romancing with Meher as one track,so ppl who love them may watch them and Param and Sarab's cute scenes as one track,ppl who loves them can watch them.Becoz as of me Avinesh doesnt need romance scene to win over viewers heart,he tries hard for bringing a scene to real so that with any role he can rule in viewers heart,for example Sultan(eventhough all likes RK,the character Sultan made Avi in viewers heart).So i am happy if character Sarab gets his importance.

I think creatives are in confussion,to made whom as male lead Manav or Sarab,becoz their trp increases, but if track goes this way soon there will be fall in trp,my opinion trp is becoz of Sarab and cutepie Param,even not of Meher.

I feel track may be like Meher get some sense and do something good for Sarab,so that he completely support het and Param who needs Meher's love to be not cheated anymore,this track poteating Meher to be great selfish,which seems little akward for female lead and for some days i need rest from Meher and Manav scenes,atleast she sit like robo,but no Manav plz,finally from irritation,i personally.become Manav hater,soon if Meher be like this then Mehet hater too................

Sanjivani may not be a threat to be honest that show wont have mass audience rather only selective niche viewers. CS makers just need to focus on Sarab Meher track and also keep Manav death revealation in parallel to keep the mystery factor. Also Sarab's family is too less. Need to have atleast 2-3 more characters like his Biji Bauji or some elder.
