@saurabhtewari76 @NautankiFilms #rangrasiya 1st day of outdoor, shooting on sand dunes. It's awesome
Rangrasiya starring the popular actor Sanaya Irani and Ashish Sharma revolves around two people who have very different ideologies in life but still manage to get attracted to each other. The promo shot in Rajasthan tells the story of a village belle Parvati (Sanaya Irani) and Border Security Officer Rudra (Ashish Sharma). While Parvati loves the idea of love and romance, Rudra is irked by the particular emotion itself, yet the two are pulled towards each other by an unknown force. Their love story is aggressive and passionate - so they say.
The promo showcases Sanaya clad in a bridal dress looking as gorgeous as ever and Ashish loading his gun to shoot someone. As soon as someone is shot, a group of women come and strip Sanaya off her red bangles. The next we see Ashish aiming the gun at Sanaya's head... intriguing, no?
Frankly, when we saw the trailer it got us a little curious and very intrigued. However, the synopsis of the show is hardly that impressive. The whole concept of love-hate-love is redundant and done to death. But the trailer of Rangrasiya gives us some hope that maybe the makers - Saurabh Tiwari and Abhinav Shukla of Nautanki Films have finally come up with something different and original (fingers crossed)...

Forum 32 round table discussions became pretty square with what type of shows have worked on Television. Bunny being the flirt of course said youth shows with romance and advocated channel like the erstwhile Star One and now Channel V. The new shows that are expected on Channel V with Sadda Haq - My Life, My Choice, Its Complicated, Paanch - Don't Get Mad, Get Even and Confessions of an Indian Teenager from 25th November with an all new V concept, has Bunny gung-ho about identifying with the characters in the show especially Paanch.
Care Khan was all praises for the upcoming show on Colors, Rang Rasiya as he loves the ruggedness of Rajasthan and yes, after Surbhi Jyoti, we may see some clandestine watching and hoarding pictures of Sanaya Irani from the show.
Vrushali, the photographer has been fascinated with Iqbal Khan and his face since his show Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai and finds his voice sexy and wants to explore the possibility of interviewing him, so yes, she is waiting to meet him again and cover the show, Tumhari Pakhi.
The "One who cannot be named" talked about all reality shows like Dance India Dance, Nach Baliye and Big Boss and was looking forward to Boogie Woogie (Obviously, the person who loves to make us dance to various tunes, would love all dance related shows! *rolling eyes*)
Then there is Kalki Avataar, who is the sanest person in our team yet has an eccentric need to watch drama and loves our show Qubool Hai, especially antics of Haseena Bi and we have wondered if the lack of drama in real life pushes Kalki to devour all the drama based shows like Balika Vadhu, Diya Aur Baati, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai, Ek Mutthi Aasman. We as a team are trying to veer Kalki towards Saraswati Chandra, Jodha Akbar, Madhubala, Kehta Hai Dil... Jee Le Zara, Do Dil Ek Jaan and Ek Boond Ishq.
Yes, most of us on the team are die-hard romantics who fall for a good love story. Tell us what you like, a Drama, a Comedy (Yes, Comedy Nights with Kapil has its moments), Crime thriller like CID or Arjun - Har Yug Mein Aayega Ek, Romance, Youth based shows or Reality shows.
There is loads coming your way. What will make you stop channel surfing and watch a show? Lets discuss.

Inspired by Shakespeare's Othello, it has been shot in the same location of Rajasthan where Aamir Khan's 'Sarfarosh' was shot over a decade ago.
Ram Leela is all about the hot chemistry between Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. We find out if the small screen has any such sizzling pairs and edgy romances.
Television being a family medium, most shows follow a certain code wherein there is not much skin show or steamy scenes between the lead pair. Yet, there are few that manage to sizzle. The newest pairs to rev it up are Raghu (Ayaz Ahmed) and Antara (Nikita Sharma) in Do Dil Ek Jaan, Dhruv (Ruslaan Mumtaz) and Sanchi (Sangeeta Ghosh) inJee Le Jara, and Shlok (Avinash Sachdev) and Astha (Prachee Shah) in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon " Ek Baar Phir. While Antara and Raghu shared a liplock to depict their consummation scene, Dhruv appeared wearing only a towel and pulled his love Sanchi into a sensual embrace. Shlok and Astha, who hated each other got intimate in a rain sequence. Then there are jodis like Asad (Karan Singh Grover) and Zoya (Surbhi Jyoti) in Qubool Hai, RK (Vivian Dsena) and Madhu (Dhrasti Dhami) in Madhubala, which are still going strong with undertones of passion.
Love bytes
"Things are changing and situations are opening up. We have a certain luxury in showing edgy scenes," says producer Saurabh Tewary who specialises in passionate love stories " Madhubala, Do Dil Ek Jaan and the upcoming Rang Rasiya. In Do Dil.. which is an action romance about a Kashmiri girl falling in love with a goon, showing ardour in a passionate manner was natural, he says. "The girl and the boy are young and it is their way of expressing their love," he maintains adding that there will be a lot of physical proximity between the lead pair (Sanaya Irani and Ashish Sharma) in his upcoming show too! In the meanwhile, sources say that the sizzling onscreen romance of Nikita and Ayaz has extended to their real life just like Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh!

Most of the recent launches on Colors have really not faired well except for Comedy Nights With Kapil. Colors is striving hard to maintain their number two position and faces stiff competition from Zee TV.
Bigg Boss 7 has really not given the required boost to the channel's staggering TRPs.
Post her disastrous stint with Chhanchhan', Sanaya Irani was becoming labeled as invisible, when she decided to get back once again. Bang! Here comes another hot shot power packed high octane love story called Rangrasiya', featuring Sanaya Iraniin main leads.
Just in case you thought that it would bomb too, let's give a small intro of the male lead, starring opposite Sanaya, in this love project. He's handsome and rocked in his small screen debut as the love sick goon in his love cum action small screen prime time show called Gunahon Ka Devta'. Yes, it's the dashing, suave and uber handsomeAshish Sharma, who has already been known to strike a chord with his female fan followings.
The show, loosely based on the works of Shakespeare's masterpiece Othello', will have Ashish Sharma as Rudra Sharma', an Army officer, who does not believe in love, while Sanaya, named Parvati', will portray the role of a girl, for whom love is eternal and divine. Their paths will cross and voila! What we would see will be a high voltage drama of love vs hate in a new avatar, in what you can call a cross border love story. The show, Rangrasiya' is all slated to take the prime time slot of Bigg Boss 7, along with Beintehaa' in the pipeline.
With popular shows like Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon' and Mile Jab Hum Tum' in her kitty, we know Sanaya has the looks and skill to woo fans like never before. With a good looking pairing of Sanaya and Ashish, the new project by Viacom 18, is all set to go for the kill!
The promos of the show have already garnered a lot of interest and show potential for a devoted audience during the prime time. Rangrasiya' will have Rajasthan' in its background. The makers Saurabh Tewari and Nautanki films have been heard to shoot the episodes in the harsh deserts of Rajasthan and Rann of Kutch for the appropriate look and feel of the show. Tewari, known for his hit Madhubala' on Colors, will mark his second innings with Rangrasiya'.
According to sources, the current season of Bigg Boss 7, is all set to end next month, paving way for Rangrasiya' and Beintehaa'. The two will fight with the other leading prime time shows on other channels.
Slated to go on air from 30th December, 2013, the show, considering the sparkling fresh chemistry of Sanaya and Ashish, is all looking promising. Let's hope it retains the freshness and is able to garner the expected TRP's, as expected from a popular Sanaya prime time show.
