Umaben does not socialize wih hired help. She so easily disposed of Purvi's father because he did not do what she wanted.
He's remember how she asked her servant maid to bring tea when Cc came to visit her. And kept her bahus away.
Doesn't sound unusual at all.UB is full of herself and the class thing in Indian serials is very important. So, UB thinks of herself as upper class (um.. remind you some angry young man?? ahem...) and Purvi and her dad are workers, a lower class. So, workers, no matter how much the master likes or pretends to like them, so that they can control them, never ever mix! Hell, UB, the great, doesn't even let her 'bahus' eat with her!!!
