"Umaben's thoughts may be regressive, but the show is not. If my character says something, there is Chhanchhan (Sanaya Irani) who opposes it. I discussed this issue with the team and they explained that my role has to have shades of grey. She has her point of view, which may not be the right one, but that's the way she is. As long as the wrong message isn't being sent out, I'm fine with it," Supriya says.
The actress says working on the show has been an enjoyable experience so far. "I like working with Sanaya, although we haven't had too many scenes together yet. During a break on the sets, I like to read. We're all busy at different times so we don't get that much time together," says Supriya.
