ay larki log, chalo aj ka discussion topic mil gaya 😎 what do yall thinking about men like murtu (let's ignore the slap part for the sake of the discussion and we'll only discuss his personality) 🤣 aise characters dramas and movies mein bohat popular hote hain - angry young man who's the possessive type who is soft for one girl. khair abhi to murtu soft nahi hai but based on what sera is telling us, he will get better 😆

i think younger me defo found them a lil hot. aise larko ko hero bana k dikhate hain and they try to sell them as sexy and wanted and we often buy into that narrative 😆 but as i have grown up and matured and my thoughts about what an ideal partner and ideal rship are supposed to look like have shifted, i can't take characters like this seriously. it's hard for me to set aside my personal beliefs and enjoy male characters who fall on this spectrum because i know i'd never put up with someone like this anymore irl. pehle to kuch hadd tak sexy lagta tha possessiveness and gussa and whateva else murtu has shown us per ab nahi lagta 🤣 tagging some people - i know not all of us have watched the show but if you have any thoughts, you'll welcome to share them since i'm sure you have seen male characters like these in other shows, movies, or even irl lol

These are book boyfriend characters. Sirf fiction mein acche lagte hain. Real life na hote hai and hote bhi toh I doubt most sane girls will like them.

i think variations of these men do exist in real life and some people do like them. the characters aren't that far removed from reality. but yeah, mere se to fiction mein bhi nahi bardasht hote ab. mere se aise behave kare koi to main to uska mooh torh dun 🤣

Teen me would have loved this angry young man trope, riddled with possessiveness and jealousy but now, as a somewhat sensible adult, I neither have the time nor energy to put with a man of this sorts.

I remember watching ITV growing up and seeing these good looking men, be only soft for this one woman, who they first treat like dirt and then suddenly one day falls head over heels for and from that day, she's his. Even the idea her being civil with another man is enough to make the guy see red. Coupled with romantic bgm and through my rose colored glasses, this always seemed like the norm.

Mujhe fictional characters acche lagte hain and start liking the actors because of that but I have never......even when I was very young never wanted that kind of person in my life. Mujhe hamesha aisa rehta woh Books mein hai, TV pe hai usko wahi rehne do.😆😆

Possessiveness, gussa are the redflags for me.

Practical life me Practical soch se hi jeena thik hai.

Limit se upar ka sab kuch hi hanikarak lagta hai, chahe wo pyar ho ya nafrat!

Real life me taqrar se love hona ka possibility 1% hai.

agreed! & these men are always rich, let's not forget 🤣 they always look hot for some reason in media esp when you're a teenager & the teenage brain wants that kind of romance irl too phir barey ho kar aqal ati hai k is mein kuch sexy nahi hai 😆
