A very bad day for me today. I am in a shock actually. Looks like one of our common friends in US tried to end his life because he felt he was so alone and couldn't cope up with the stressful IT life in Silicon Valley. Never knew this guy was having so many problems - He was such a cheerful guy and always calm and controlled. Don't know what is happening to people in IT industry. With personal experience of working in both US and India I have to say India is far more stressful than US is but somehow I feel Indian close knit family structure allows people to get that secure feeling that is needed. US you tend to be alone and may be you are more prone to depression. Just hoping he makes through - Still in Hospital it seems. I am so shocked.

Wow Ash you did IPK mandir darshan, app dhanya ho gayi 😳.

Too bad you didn't get to meet her, is the RR board/poster outside their sets? Are you going again? If I were you I would just camp outside the set till you met her on her way in or out😆

Looks like I missed a ton: J N Visi graced us with their darshan😃 AND the return of the Take 5 (which i'm running to read).

Sarada: sorry to hear about your friend, hope he is better soon. People today are living under all sorts of pressure: personal, professional n social and you really just cannot say what makes them tick and what doesn't.

Though I disagree - I think life here is WAY more busy than in saat samundar paar des - since over here, you're a working (wo)man + kaamwali bai + dhobi + chauffeur + short order cook + Joe (Jane) Friday. 😕

But still - ab this life is apna life 😃

Yes Meens ... this is just outside the set... it was raining heavily yesterday so there wasn't anyone outside... the vanity van was outside but guess the rain ensured no one came out.

We actually made the bus guy back up to take the pic and look into the road from the set to the road...
