Aaj ka TRP report card :

Bindi Luck is now leading Zee TV's line up dethroning her own show Jodha Akbar #JaiHoEkta

A new show called Jamai Raja leaps out of the starting blocks #RipeforSatyanashing?

TRP increases because of hotpants, so Myrah <> Paro #Suchislife

Fellow Bawarites..show is taking in a very low TRP #Enjoytillitlasts

Last but not the least, saw some off screen video of soap version Two States/Custody i.e YHM. The actor deadpans really well. Maybe that translated into on-screen one liners the character seems to be famous for?

Bawaree has the lowest TRP of all the shows and they still continue to tell their story or is it because of this they continue to tell their story? I have to mention the little things about the show that catch me - the dialogues, as Visi said, these were things I grew up listening to and speaking. Yesterday Aazam while talking to Nik called him 'Hero Heralal' and I did not stop grinning till the end of the show. #BachhpanKeDin

I am actually happy on the fact that even with this low and dismal TRPs the PH is not jumping gun and doing a complete massacre of the story. But yes because of the low TRPs there are hardly any repeats for the show but I don't think the PH or the channel are concerned about the low ratings. In fact today SBB was hosted by Yams and Nikumbh(Vinita and Abhishek in their Baware avatar). So hoping the show will be given a dignified end if the TRPs don't go up. I would take a crisp story any day rather than one which has been stretched like a bubblegum without any flavor for the sake of TRPs.

@bold:- So true. The dialogues between Azam and Nikhumb are so good, feels so much like we used to talk with our friends in our childhood.

And looking at the TRP chart, Jamai Raja came out with a decent 2.6+ TRP in its first week and that too when Mahabharat is going great guns with the story at the last phase of the war. And this show was not even promoted too much. So really intrigued with the good TRP report for the show - How is Zee doing it? SP I agree has a huge monopoly in the market so I can accept SP's shows getting decent numbers but Zee is also able to get the market share quite good.

Karan is quite good...infact his transitions from one-liners to comedy/ tragedy is not dramatic and that Is so refreshing #phankhitalking 😆

Bhat is this Jamai Raja and it seems to have made a dhamakedar entry on the TRP charts😲😲

Its probably in the romcom genre; simple halka phulka pyaar mohabbat n saas-jamai nok jhok😳. Audiences are probably sick of the saas-bahu drama so new spin putting by putting jamai raja center stage n replacing rona dhona with caamedyy but still keeping the much needed in desi soapland family drama alive😆.

I remember the Anil Kapoor - Hema Malini starrer Jamai Raja n have to say Anil Kapoor was one of the most versatile actors of his time and many of his movies have great repeat value; infact one of my all time favs is Meri Jung⭐️⭐️

Uff you khaitans!! So are you sailing on that soaps boatwa too?😉 Like Meens said sometime back, it has crossed over the traditional good honeymoon period of any soap (first 200 episodes) .. so have to think hard before giving it a shot😛

Karan is rocking his role...yhm is such a good watch...divyanka was the weak link initially...but even she has improved a lot...I never thought Karan will act so well...and I'm not even in the category of those fans who think he is hot... 😊 He just turned me into a fan by his acting...I was actually so surprised to read some comments elsewhere on I-f that this actor just shouts in the name of acting...all I'll say is to each his own...and that his character is that of a loud punjabi...and then as u said, he transitions so so well from loud to quiet to comical to romantic etc...
