Aamna was born into a Muslim family in Mumbai on July 16th, 1982 to Indian father and Persian-Bahrain mother and studied at St. Anne's High School, Bandra.
Modeling Career
When Aamna was in her second year of college, she began receiving modeling offers and has done many such as Dressline, Indian Suit and Kangan Fashion Shoot and many others.
She is the brand ambassador of ''Sweet Dreams'', Kangan Fashion Jewellery Creation'', ''Gem and Jewellery Creation'', ''Dressline and ''Bharat Plaza.''

Television Career
Aamna started her television career with Balaji Telefilms serial Kahiin To Hoga. She played the role of of ''Kashish'' the eldest sister of a middle class family. The show is one off the most successful shows of Star Plus. She has also appeared in 2 Pakistani serials, Sun Leyna and Ana.
She returned to acting on TV after 6 years, playing the lead role in set India's serial Honge Juda Na Hum. This show ended on March 20, 2013 due to low TRP's.
On 6th & 7th April, she appeared in the series Ek Thi Nayyaka for an episode.
Guest Appearances
Aamna has been seen as guest in many shows such as Rin Mera Superstar, Kahanni Ghar Ghar Kii, Deal Ya No Deal & Batiwala House No 43.
Film Career
Aamna made her film debut in the 2009 Bollywood film Aloo Chaat, opposite Aftab Shivdasani. She appeared in another film that same year with Shivdasani again, called Aao Wish Karein. In 2011 she appeared in another film called Shakal Pe Mat Ja, directed by Shubh Mukherkee. She has also appeared in a Tamil film called Junction, in her early career.
