"Swayam get up, we have new neighbours, they have come here, get up swayam. Come greet them"
swayam's mom called out. Swayam was least interested in knowing who his new neighbours were. Gatherings was never his thing.
But due to his mother's force, he got up and walked towards the living area rubbing his eyes and ruffling his already messy hair.
"Hello swayam, see beta you got company, atleast someone of your age" the uncle stated to his daughter. swayam looked up to see who She was. After seeing what he saw, he was spellbound.
He couldn't stop staring at her face and gaze at her. According to him no one could be as beautiful as her.
Her greenish eyes felt like the only place he should live in.
Her luscious brownish hair looked like his home. Her lips seemed to him as the most tempting chocolate.
Yes this was love at first sight.
But she couldn't help but look at disgust at him.
The reason was plain and simple, he was in his pajamas, hadn't bothered to brush his teeth and stinked as though he was a hippo.
He noticed this reaction of hers, and cursed himself for looking like an oaf. He excused himself and went inside to freshen up. But by the time he could come out they had left. He turned towards his mom and asked
"mom us ladki ka naam kya hai?"
Grinning internally.
"Uska naam Sharon hai"
his mom replied
" Sharon" he repeated to himself and then said
"Sharon and swayam, sound good together". He started smiling
"kya kaha beta?"
His mom questioned
"kuch nahi ma.. Kuch nahi"
he thanked his stars that his mom didn't hear a thing. He went to his balcony still thinking about her, and he got his biggest surprise.
She was standing right in the opposite balcony in her house. His heart flipped and he didn't know when he had kept his hand on the railing for support and kept one hand on his chin and was gaping at her.
She was walking around and reading a book. She was in shorts and a crop top. A geeky glass was just giving her the perfect look. Which was making swayam's heart beat faster. She finally looked up and saw this cute guy staring at her.
She liked the attention but acted as though she wasn't comfortable. He came to his senses and then awkwardly rose his hand into a Hi. She reciprocated it and then blushed and ran back to her room.
Swayam was in cloud nine, to see her blush, he too retreated with a radiating smile. Both sat on their respective beds. Both were smiling away to glory.
"Sharon" he told to himself as though soothing his heart. "Swayam'' she told herself with a slight chuckle. "SwaRon?'' Both questioned themselves and blushed simultaneously.
Love at first sight was only what they had read in fictions or heard as stories or watched in films. Now they were lost in that feeling. They both were attracted, love was the summit of this journey which had just began.
