Rey : You know what Sharon I hate her Mahn, she is just so stupid. I mean how can someone not have an aim in life??? how can someone be dependent on their life partner??? I am bearing her because if I leave her, Swayam will feel bad which I don't want.
Sharon : Come on Rey its okay. We can sort it out.
Rey : No Sharon, my decision is final I want a break up with Taani.
This all was heard by Taani. She was heartbroken. She felt the ground below her foot just moved and she will fall any moment but she controlled herself and moved out of there.
Rey : Sharon, she heard everything. I hope she forgives me when she knows the truth.
Sharon : Don't worry Rey, she will forgive you.
With Taani
She was broken. How could her love think so about her??? She couldn't even disclose her problems to anyone. After all, she never had a true friend in St. Louis. She thought she could not hold Rey in a relation which is just for name sake. She decided she will leave Rey.
Next Day (in college)
Taani called Rey and asked him to meet her in an empty class room. He came there. He knew what was coming his way still acted as if he was unaware and unaffected.
Taani : Rey I want a breakup.
Rey : but Swayam...
Taani : I'll manage him, you don't worry.
Rey : Are you sure??? I mean till yesterday you were dependant on me and today this breakup...
Taani : I just thought its time.
Rey : Okay as you wish.
Taani : Bye Rey.
Rey : Taani we can be friends and yeah can we share a last hug as a couple???
Taani : (couldn't control herself, she was craving for him) Sure.
They hugged each other for about 5 minutes and then just gave a smile to each other and moved out of there and went in different directions. They both were crying inside but didn't want to show the other one for their own reasons.
At Taani's place (next morning)
Taani : (on phone) What the crap!!!! You are joining the mission. Fine, join St. Louis but be careful. Nobody should know who I am and what am I in St. Louis for. See, my brother studies here, he shouldn't know about me. We will act as if we don't know each other and slowly we became friends. When are you joining the college??? Today??? Fine will wait for you.
She left for college. She had to start with a new beginning. She had actually forgotten the reason for her to join St. Louis. She was so lost in Rey that she forgot her mission. Now, from today, there would be no Rey, it would just be her mission.
