Chapter 1
Taanis POV
In Delhi :
"Good morning dad" I greeted my dad, walking carefully, avoiding the stacks of boxes all around our house, which is all my luggage. Hey! Don't look at me like that, its not my fault, I have to take my clothes, my pillows and all the other things which are "needed".
"Good morning" He smiled.
"So what's for breakfast today?"
"Same, juice and cereal"
"Dad! Tomorrow I am going to make breakfast, I am tired of eating this everyday" I said.
"Taani, did you forget? Tomorrow you wont even be there here"
Oops, I forgot! I am changing my college. I am going to the renowned college, St. Louis in Bombay. Bombay "The City of dreams", as it is called, now lets see how many my dreams does it fulfil. I am excited, but not that much, as my dad. God! He's super duper excited, its as if he is going there not me. I am only excited to meet Sharon and Swayam, "the lovebirds", they haven't realised they love each other. Hope they realise soon.
"Taani! Taani?"He called, breaking the chain of thoughts
"yes? Oh yes dad, I wont be there." I said, a little sadly.
I am a little tensed for him as well, he will be all alone here. I hope he'll be fine.
"Taani, don't worry about me, I'll be fine okay, you concentrate on your studies, okay?"
Wow! My dad is a mind-reader!
"Okay" I hugged him.
"Love you dad"
"Love you too taani"
"Okay now get ready, we have to leave in an hour" he said
"Yes, I ll get ready, ekdum fatafat"
He chuckled.
Rey's POV
In Mumbai :
"Hi lovebirds!" I said, as I entered Sharon's home.
"We are not lovebirds!" Sharon and Swayam said together.
I laughed.
"Yeah right!" I said sarcastically.
"Don't roll your eyes okay, we aren't "lovebirds", so just shut up okay, and keep that sarcasm to yourself!" swayam said
"Okay fine, but god knows when you will guys will realise that you both lo..."
"SHUT UP!" Sharon shouted, not even letting me complete.
"God, chill, I am right beside you" I said, rubbing my ears
"Mind your tongue, okay" She said.
"Yeah, mind it" Swayam agreed.
"Oho, see you both are agreeing to each other!"
"SHUT UP!" Again they both shouted together.
"Okay, okay, sorry. By the way, when is your friend coming? Whats her name? I forgot, something with T?" I said, changing the topic.
"Oh yes! Her flight will land in 3 hours! OMG! OMG! I totally forgot, I have to clean the guest room in my house" Sharon said.
"And, I have to make a whole basket of chocolates!" said swayam.
"oh god! Now she is more important than me?! Because we had decided we'll go for lunch together! You guys forgot?!" I exclaimed.
"Rey! No yaar! We cant go, cause she is coming. Sorry ha. And ofcourse she is more important for us, are I know her since childhood ya!" she said.
"Ya, but you know me also since childhood! And swayam? Swayam, you know her since only a year!" I said
"God rey! I was just kidding! I don't believe you are just jealous of taani being our friend. And we are going for lunch, but we are going to include her also. Understand?" Sharon said.
"Me and jealous? Wo bhi ek ladki se? No ways!" I cant and I am not jealous of some random girl, who I haven't met also. "What is her name? and okay, we'll include her also" I said.
Okay now I don't like this, I mean Sharon and Swayam are MY friends!
"Taani" she said.
Okay, so her name is taani, hmm.
"Right! Taani, so she is landing in 3 hours, so you guys get to work, and I ll sit here watching you guys." I said.
"What you'll watch us? And why will you sit there?"Swayam asked.
"Well Swayam, isn't it obvious, I mean shes not my friend, I haven't met her, then why should I clean a room and make a gift for her?" I said
"Shut up Rey. If she is not your friend, then you can make her your friend, so now get that bloody ass up from that couch and get to work! Do you understand?" Sharon said, no, she SHOUTED.
Okay now I am not liking this at all. NOT AT ALL. I mean I have to work for a random girl!
"Rey I said get up!" Again Sharon called
"Ya, okay fine, I am getting up okay!"
So now lets get to work for an unknown girl!

And no, Swayam and Taani are not siblings for now, you'll get to know more in the story 😊
