What kind of diet do you follow to keep yourself going during the season of summer?
Vaise toh, khane ke mamle mein I am not too careful as you all know! (Laughs). Maggie is always on top of my list though, be it summer, winter or the monsoon. Vada Pav too, is always a favourite on my list, and even though summer season mein thoda zyaada ho jaata hai, par mein toh hafte mein ek ya do baar khati hi hoon! (Laughs). Besides that, I make it a point to not eat very heavy khana jisme bahut sara oil bhara rehta hai. Fruits are a must for me during the day as they keep me rejuvenated! Besides that, I like eating thoda light khana which doesn't make me feel hot, sleepy and lazy through the day, as phir shoot ke time pe energetic rehna padta hai. I also love drinking cold liquids such as chaas, lassi, nariyal paani, nimbu paani and lots and lots of water, which keeps me hydrated through the day.
How do you take care of your hair and skin during the season of summer?
To prevent my skin from getting oily and sticky, I wash my face with cold water quite often through the day, which helps me feel refreshed. I also apply a lot of Johnsons Baby Powder which keeps my skin soft , and a good sunscreen to avoid getting tanned in the sun. To keep cool, I use this cooling powder called Dermi Cool' which really really helps during the hot summer! As for my hair, I usually keep it tied to prevent it from getting sticky and sweaty. Other than that I make it a point to oil it for a while before washing it to avoid split ends and dry hair
Tips you can share with your fans which they can use, to beat this scorching heat during the summer?
First of all, drink a lot of water, as that always helps in keeping cool and being hydrated which is very important during the summer. Try and eat less oily and heavy khana and instead consume light and easy to digest food. Stick to cool drinks like iced tea, chaas, nariyal paani etc which will definitely help you keep cool during the day. Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables which will help you gain stamina and energy through the day to easily conduct whatever work you are doing. Make it a point to take good care of your skin by washing your face often, using cool soaps and gels such as a Cinthol Blue or a good Lifebuoy, a Dermi Cool or some other soothing and cooling products too. Oil your hair often to avoid damaging it and try and keep it tied during this hot season! Following these small tips which surely ensure your a good and happy summer!
