Ginni mentions that they couldn't treat Khushwant properly because they did not have money. She said that they couldn't take Khushwant to Delhi for his treatment.
Also, yes, Ginni was extremely angry that point but Adi understood her anger and gave her space. What ruined is Gulabo trying to take revenge and dragging Ginni's name in it. This totally destroyed whatever trust there was between Adi and Ginni.
