9th Feb – Written Update

I'm sorry I wasn't able to update last night ..I was stuck at work owing to the floods – there is seriously no limit to the UK weather! 😡

Update

Arjun takes the notice and tries to explain that he has been arranging for finance, so surely there's no need for this. The person explains that the Company has been trading at a loss for the past 6 months and with the Mitthal's merger now scrapped, the bank cannot afford to take any further risk with it. The bank representative leaves, as does Arjun. Anisa looks on.

Anisa is joined by P and G – who have also overheard Arjun's conversation with the bank representative. Together they recall their moments in the office. P whines that had it not been for Rahul and Vanshika's break-up none of this would be happening!

Arjun tells Rahul and Marlyani about the notice – stating that its now *all* over. Rahul apologises and attempts to reassure Arjun that given a chance, he will try and make amends. However, Arjun decides that whilst it is all but over, he will not let it pass without a fight!

Anisa enters Rahul's office with her resignation letter, recalling previous moments where she had attempted to resign but Rahul wouldn't hear any of it. She then returns to the *present* and is about to place her letter on his desk and leave, when she spots his *Sorry*-card for Vanshika.

Rahul appears and she hands him the resignation letter. Rahul takes it and dejectedly says that this time he will not stop her, the Company is almost gone. However, they have their one last project between them to complete – but she apologises and says there is a task for her to complete but it's not the one they had been working on together.

PRECAP – Rahul asks whether Anisa is leaving to take up another job elsewhere – she replies in the negative, explaining of her plan to return to Lucknow. Rahul appears concerned, whilst Anisa continues to explain that she has lost her trust/hope in this city.
