Next morning, Nivi was standing outside Viren's cabin trying to catch her breath. She got late today by 30 minutes all because of all the tiredness she had from past few days. She didn't slept since past 2 days all thanks to the office work she had to do. Last night she didn't knew when she fell asleep while thinking about Viren. She was sure that Viren is angry with her but why? She thought a lot but she was nowhere to get the answer.

In the morning she didn't knew when the alarm rang. When she woke up, she was running late. She remembered Viren's word to not come late in the office. She got ready for the office in a hurry and ran outside to get a metro. On her way, she decided to behave in the same way Viren is behaving with her.

She knocked on the door. Viren looked up at her and their eyes met.

"Come in Miss. Sharma."

He looked at his watch and said "You are late Miss. Sharma. Didn't I told you yesterday to not come late."

Nivi nodded her head.

"Then can I ask why you came late today?"

Nivi didn't said anything while looking at the floor. Viren kept looking at her for about 2 minutes, then started walking towards her. Nivi started to step backward in fear when Viren caught her hand and pulled her closer.

Nivi looked at Viren who was also looking at her with utmost fury on his face.

"You never took my words seriously. You have always been the most irresponsible person I have ever met." said Viren in an angry tone.

He left her hand with force and turned back. He was about to sit on his chair when Nivi said "then report about my irresponsible behavior to Surveen mam. I am sure she will appoint an assistant for you who will be very responsible about all the office work and I will be happy as well to assist Surveen mam rather than assisting you."

There was a moment of silence in the cabin. Nivi thought that Viren will be shocked to hear her reply. She began to smile.

Viren turned towards her with smile on his face "That's what I don't want to do Miss Sharma. You see those files Miss Sharma?"

Nivi lost her smile. Viren pointed towards the huge pile of files in his cabin. Nivi looked at those files. They were full of dust and it appeared like nobody ever opened those files in past 1 year.

"Yes??"

"Then complete the work of all these files for me today. I want this work to be done only today. You will not be allowed to go back home till you finish the work of these files." said Viren.

"But…."

"I don't want to hear anything. You can go now."

Nivi went out of his cabin in anger. Viren's rude behavior for her was affecting her so much that she was not able to think about anything all the time. For a moment she again thought to ask him the reason for his rudeness but then she stopped herself from doing and started doing work which only got finished after 8 pm in the evening. She placed all those files in Viren's cabin and left for the home.

She barely went out of the office when a person started to follow her. She looked back and got frightened. It was the same person who used to follow her everyday until she filed a complaint against him in the police station few months ago.

He was staring at her only. Nivi began to walk quickly trying to reach to the station as soon as possible. Her heart was beating very fast. She kept looking back to check whether he is still following her.

For the last time, Nivi looked back to find no one following her. She breathed in relief and looked ahead to find him standing in front of her. Nivi tried to escape from there quickly. But he caught her and began to touch her inappropriately.

Nivi was trying to break free from his grip when she saw Viren approaching them. She freed herself from his grip and slapped him hard on his face.

That guy was shocked. He again advanced towards Nivi when Viren caught his shirt's collar and threw him away from Nivi. Viren caught Nivi's hand and took her away from there forcefully.

"Viren I said leave me……" Nivi kept saying this all the time but Viren didn't paid heed to what she was saying.

He opened his car's gate and made her sit in the car forcefully and drove off from there.

"Viren stop the car otherwise I will jump out from the car. Viren you heard me or not? I really mean it Viren."

"Stop yelling at me Nivedita. I am trying to help you still you are yelling at me like I did something."

"Oh yes you did something you are not supposed to do. From past days, you are trying to make my life and now helping me will ruin your efforts now STOP THIS CAR !!!!"

Viren stopped the car immediately, came out and opened the gate for her. Nivedita stepped outside the car. With a last glance at her, Viren said "it was my fault to help you and I am sorry for doing this."

Viren went from there in his car without looking back at Nivi.
