Finally the wedding day of Tarun and Sonia arrived. All were so excited to be a part of the marriage. Nivi looked up at her reflection in the mirror and sighed. How much she hates to put on makeup on her face but still she has to do it. While putting on the necklace around her neck, she remembered the moment when she bought this dress. She remembered the smile on Viren's face inside the mall. She was wondering about Viren's reaction after seeing her in this purple lehenga.
Nivi heard some movement outside the room. She opened the door and looked outside. It appeared like the groom side finally arrived at the venue. She came back in the room. For once she thought that she saw someone entering in her room but no one was there as she looked around. She breathed in relief and began to look around for her duppatta but she was unable to find it. She was wondering where she left her duppatta when a cold hand touched her face and closed her eyes. She felt the touch of the hand and instantly realized that it's none other than Viren.
"Viren what are you doing here? You just scared me." said Nivi while feeling totally surprised to see Viren there. Viren removed his hand from her eyes and stood in front of her.
Nivi was still looking around for her duppata when Viren touched her chin with his hands, made her look up at him. "main yahan apne chand ko dekhne aya tha." Nivedita smiled shyly and looked at Viren. She saw that Viren too wore a purple colored sherwani. Although he was looking very handsome, still Nivi complained "is there any dress code for the wedding? You too wore purple. Hold it earlier in the mall, you chose this purple lehenga so that we both wear purple in the wedding. Viren you are mad."
Viren smiled and replied absent mindedly "Nivi just for one day let's assume purple as the color of love for the crazy lovers, that's us." They both began to smile together.
Suddenly she realized that she is standing in front of Viren without the duppatta and turned away from him. "Viren just go away from here. I will come outside after few minutes but you must go now." She began to look out for her dupatta again.
"Are you looking out for this, Nivi?" Nivi heard Viren's shy reply and looked back at him. Viren wrapped her duppata around him and tried to mock Nivi's shy expressions.
Nivi snatched her duppata from his hand while saying "why you boys try to act smart when you are not?"
"And why you girls try to act like Miss Know it all, when you are not?" Viren tried to tease her.
"Accha ji, so this is what you think about me. Chalo bahar nikalo." Nivi was not in a mood to spare Viren.
She threw him out from the room despite Viren's attempt to stay in the room.
When Nivi got ready and stepped out of the room, she felt a cold grasp on her hand .She turned towards the person and saw Viren smiling at her .Before she could do anything, Viren forced her to come alone with him. They went outside the wedding venue.
"Viren what are we doing here? wait a moment, are you upto something?" Nivi looked at Viren suspiciously doubting his intentions.
"Arre yaar ek baat batao tum mujhse hi pyar karti hona phir bhi mujh par bharosa nahi hai." Viren was pissed off to hear what Nivi said. "ok leave all this, just have a look at the wedding venue." Viren said.
Nivi looked at him with puzzled expression but did what he told her. She looked at the surroundings for few minutes. "haan ab?" Nivi said while her mind wondered a bit about Viren's plan.
"Now close your eyes." Viren told her. Nivi eyes widened with suspicion. Viren rolled his eyes in disbelief and said "believe me I am not going to kiss you."
Nivi closed her eyes. "Now imagine that it's our marriage." Viren said it like it was the most obvious thing he was about to say.
Nivi opened her eyes while looking totally shocked and glared at Viren. Viren looked back at her "I am telling you to only imagine this!!!" Nivi again closed her eyes and Viren too closed his eyes and continued saying what he was imagining right now "imagine it's our marriage. You are dressed as a bride and I as a groom. We both are looking good. We both are sitting in the mandap. Wedding rituals are going on. The pandit is enchanting the mantras. We both are getting married. Imagine, Nivi."
Viren opened his eyes and looked at Nivi. There was a broad smile on her face. "so how did you felt while imagining about our marriage?"
"Wonderful !!" Nivi replied happily. "So let's get married today Nivi. What say?" Viren replied excitedly. Nivi opened her eyes and said "yeah right, let's get married today. Book tickets for our honeymoon too and let's go out hai na?"
"Honeymoon? Don't try to embarrass me Nivi." Viren pretended to blush like a newly wed bride. "You are such a shameless person Viren. Just shut up and go inside and stop imagining our marriage. Go" Nivi rebuked Viren.
Nivi and Viren were still talking when they saw Aditya and Niyati coming out of a car. They both joined Viren and Nivi looking very happy.
"Now how is Auntyji's health Adi? She is fine na?" Nivi enquired about Adi's mother.
"Yeah she is fine. Dadima was there. She said to come here while she will look after Maa." Aditya replied happily.
They all entered inside the wedding venue. Finally the wedding rituals of Tarun and Sonia began. They both were looking cute together. All the time, Viren kept staring at Nivi. He was unable to take his eyes off from Nivi's beautiful face.
It was pheras time. All began to shower flowers on Tarun and Sonia while Viren chose to shower all the flower petals he got on Nivi. Nivi repeatedly tried to shrug off Viren from doing this but at last stopped talking with Viren looking too irritated to speak anything.
Then Nivi looked at Aditya-Niyati. They both were laughing together on something. "hey Bhagwan kash ye dono hamesha ek sath hi rahe." Nivi prayed to the god as she knew that they both love each other.
One month later,
Early in the morning, Viren got ready and began to comb his hairs. He looked at his reflection in the mirror and mumbled to himself while looking very nervous "Viren Sood, don't get nervous. You did your best in all the exams. You will definitely get good marks. All Right !!!"
He went downstairs. He saw Taiji and Niyati waiting for him. They both began to smile when they saw Viren. Viren took blessing from Vandana Taiji and smiled at Niyati. He was about to go when Niyati caught his hand and hugged him "don't be nervous my kid brother. You will definitely score well in your exams, okay? And don't forget to give me my treat later." Niyati tried to make him feel a bit relaxed. Viren smiled broadly and nodded his head in 'yes'.
In the college, all the final year students gathered in the auditorium and waited for the teachers to announce the result. Finally the teacher started announcing the results. Sid, Divya, Vicky , Vishal, Shruti and Sneha , they all passed the exams with good marks while Nivi and Viren both occupied the first rank. They both scored 980 out of 1000.
While they all were celebrating in the canteen, Aditya joined them. He said ". Congrats to all for completing your studies. I wish I would have been there to hear your results but pity only students were allowed. They did not let me enter as I completed my studies 5 months ago .hey friends, got to tell you all something. I started my own business here 3 months ago as you all know. Now as my company has now achieved a bit success here, so today I am organizing a party. And you all are invited in the party obviously."
All cheered for Aditya and congratulated him.
While all were chatting happily in the canteen, Viren was not there. Nivi started to look for him but was unable to find him. Then she heard the flute's melodious sound. She smiled and began to run towards the sound direction. Finally she reached in the parking stand of the college and saw Viren standing there playing his flute. She stood there watching him. Sensing Nivi's presence there, Viren stopped playing his flute and looked up at Nivi.
Viren caught her hand excitedly and said "come Nivi". "Where are we going Viren?" Nivi questioned him.
"Don't ask any question. Just come with me." Viren replied. They both left together on Viren's bike. After some time, they reached at the place they both knew, Viren favorite place. They both walked up there.
Like always, large trees blocked the sunlight from reaching the place and it was quite dark there. Viren was looking around like he was waiting for something. "Viren why we are here? and what are you looking for?" Nivi got damn curious.
" Shhh….Wait for few minutes, Nivi." replied Viren still looking around and then glanced at his watch. After few minutes, the sun appeared over the trees and the place got filled up with bright sunlight. Bright sunlight magnified the beauty of the place. Nivi was astonished to witness such a wonderful sight. She was still looking around when Viren came and said "Nivi, look at me !!!"
Nivi looked at Viren. Viren smiled and bent on his knees. He was holding something in his hand. Nivi looked carefully to realize that it's a ring made of a silver Aluminium foil. Nivi realized what Viren is going to do. Viren said "I was waiting for this wonderful sight so that I can confess the biggest truth of my life. I know that this ring is not that good like a diamond ring but today I felt like I am gonna lose you. I, Viren Sood, want to spend each and every moment of my life with the person who I love the most, that's you only. I want to mesmerize all the moment I spent with you in my eyes so that even if I die tomorrow I don't regret for anything I wished to do but I never did. I want to be with you, I want to live my life with you. I know may be I am not a perfect lover, but I promise to love you till the last breath of my life. So Miss. Nivedita Sharma would you like to spend your entire life with me as Mrs. Nivedita Viren Sood?"
Tears began to roll down from Nivedita's eyes. She did not knew what to say, but she nodded her head in 'yes'. Viren caught her hand and made Nivi wear the ring in her finger. Nivi looked at Viren lovingly and hugged him tightly.
She waited for this moment since a long time but still she was shocked after seeing Viren's confession. It was the happiest moment of Nivi and Viren's life. They both always knew that they can't live without each other.
After a long time, they both broke apart from the hug. Tears were still rolling down from Nivi's eyes. Viren wipes the tears from her eyes gently and teases her "so can I kiss my fiance now?"
Nivi looked up at Viren with a bit shocked, began to look down blushing slightly. Viren caught her hand and came closer to her. He caressed her long tresses with his fingers and whispered "look at me Nivi !!!"
She did not wanted to look at him but still she looked up at him feeling very shy. Nivi rested her hands around Viren's neck while Viren hands found their way around Nivi's waist.
He traced her face with his hands and brought his face more closer to her. Nivi closed her eyes waiting for the kiss to happen soon when Viren began to blow air across her face forcing her to open her eyes.
"Before anything, I just want you to remember this day, the moments we spent together today forever in your life Nivi." Viren said and kissed her.
First Nivi froze at the spot feeling numb about what to do then she kissed him back. Kissing her is one of the wonderful and sweetest thing Viren thought he ever did. It made him feel out of the world. Nivi felt like she never did ever. She felt the world at her feet. She never felt so secured so special like she did in Viren's arms.
They both drifted apart after a long time. Nivi got a call from Dadi telling her to reach home ASAP. They both left together from there feeling very happy.
In the evening Viren left for Aditya's house alone as Nivi told him that she will come there later with Divya. He kept on waiting for her. After 1 hour, Divya came alone in the party. Viren asked her about Nivi but she said that Nivi told her to go alone as she was coming there with Viren.
After the party, Viren came home feeling a bit worried about Nivi as she did not turned up in the party. He got a call from Divya. Divya said "Viren Keshav chachaji sent Nivi to Delhi. He did not want Nivi to be with you Viren."
