REALIZATION OF LOVEPART- 54
Next day when they reached, they all were touched to receive a very warm welcome by the Soods. It looked like they all were waiting for their arrival very eagerly.
As they sat down for lunch, the entire mansion was echoing with their chatters and laughter. It appeared like a big family reunion for everyone.
Almost everyone said that they missed Nivi the most. All were elated to meet Tani who for the first time met Soods.
After meeting everyone, Nivi went to their room and was arranging clothes in the wardrobe when someone knocked on the door.
"Come in. The door is open."
When the person came didn't said anything for a long time, Nivi stopped her work and turned to see Chanchal standing a few feet away from her while looking at the floor.
"Maa do you need anything?"
Chanchal looked up at Nivi still not meeting her eyes with Nivi. Nivi was shocked to see tears in her eyes. She rushed towards her and held Chanchal's hand.
"Maa what happened why are you crying?"
Chanchal launched herself on Nivi, hugging her tightly and broke down completely. Nivi tried to step away. She was getting anxious to see Chanchal like that.
"Maa please tell me what happened?"
Chanchal caught Nivi's hand and bowed her head while saying "I am sorry Nivi. I am really sorry for everything I did to you and your family. I always tried to harm your family but you never did anything wrong with me. I intentionally made Sid marry Divya, my husband insulted your family, he insulted your father, I always tried to make your life miserable after your marriage with Viren but I never wanted to kill you. Trust me I didn't pushed you away intentionally that day when you fell from stairs.
I just never liked how my family and your family loved you always. But Now I know you are worthy of the love they always showered on you. Please forgive me for my each mistake, Nivi Beta. From now on, you are like my own daughter. I am so ashamed of my deeds that I am not able to look in your eyes. I am sorry."
Nivi made Chanchal look up at her and replied with a sweet smile "Maa I never had any grudges with you. What you did absolutely made my life miserable and I always wondered why you did all those things with me. But now I think what happened was destined to happen. With all the things you did, I know my family got hurt but I personally think it helped me in becoming a better person. I stood up for my family, I worked to earn money which made me confident. About marrying Sid, I am so glad that I didn't married him otherwise I would have the missed the most wonderful thing in my life, my Viren. Viren always healed every wound given by you. So I forgave you a very long time ago."
A week went past since the time Viren, Nivi, Tani and Anurag came in Shimla. But Nivi was clearly cursing herself for coming back here. After coming here, Viren got so much engrossed in work that he barely spent time with Nivi which made Nivi very sad. The whole family was there with her, but the person she wanted to be with was so busy to even talk to her.
Soon the day came when Sood mansion was being decorated for the launch party of Viren and Anurag's company. Workers were rushing here and there to decorate the whole mansion meanwhile Tani and Nivi chose to supervise all the decorations. Today Nivi was very very sad. Tomorrow was Their first marriage anniversary but with the way Viren was behaving, Nivi was sure that Viren forgot all about it. While the thought of their marriage completing one year was making her happy, the ignorant behavior of Viren was pissing her off a big time.
Nivi and Tani were busy in making floral rangoli on the entrance door of Sood's mansion when Tani finally asked what was bothering her so much.
"Nivi you look very sad, Did Viren said anything?"
"That's the problem Tani. He didn't said and did anything at all since he came back here. He is ignoring me so much that I feel like breaking his laptop in two pieces and burning down all his office files. But I can't even do that."
Tani burst out laughing. Nivi looked so cute while she was saying all those things. She knew that this launch event was a very big thing for Viren and Anurag so she didn't felt even a bit bad when Anurag was doing the same thing with her like Viren did with Nivi. But when she saw Nivi's sad face she knew that she must do something.
As the rangoli was almost complete, She stood up when her phone rang and was talking with her PA when she saw Viren coming downstairs while reading some file and making his way towards the main door.
She disconnected the call and looked up at Nivi who was gathering all the things. An evil smirk was playing on Tani's face. She waited for Viren to come closer. The moment Viren went past her, she stuck her leg out in his way. Viren tripped and lost his balance. Nivi saw that and she grabbed his hand to prevent him from falling.
The file flew away from his hand and he fell on the ground taking Nivi along with him. As soon as they both fell, Tani ran away from there in case Viren understood what she did. No wonder Viren and Anurag were best friends, they both were biggest jerk in the world when it comes to love.
Viren fell straight on the rangoli with Nivi on top of him. All the remaining flowers that Nivi was holding in her hands got showered on his face. Her hairs flew on his face as his right hand wrapped around her waist. Feeling his touch she quickly opened her eyes but she was not able to see anything as her face was covered with her hairs.
Viren brought his left hand forward. He gently brushed aside her hairs from her face and as she lifting her head looked in to her eyes, she was lost.
Viren was looking at her with such tenderness and love filled eyes that she forgot she was angry with him. She brought her hand forward brushing the flower petals on his face away. She saw when she touched Viren, he closed his eyes.
Her heart started beating fast when she saw Viren smiling at him. She was unable to stop herself from returning the gesture.
She felt Viren enveloping his hands around her waist tightly while she kept looking at him, her heart thudding with anticipation.
She saw him leaning towards her eying her lips. Breathing hard, she closed her eyes waiting eagerly for his touch.
Viren was just few inches away from her when he heard someone clearly their throat loudly. Viren looked up and Nivi opened her eyes when she heard some noise. She looked up to see Vandana Taiji standing there, smiling and avoiding looking at them.
They stood up quickly but not before falling once again in their haste. They heard Taiji's giggle.
"What you two are doing here? Did you forgot that this is not your room?"
Viren and Nivi looked down clearly feeling embarrassed after getting caught. While mumbling something under her breath, Nivi ran away from there to hide her red face from Viren and Vandana.
"Taiji wo wo..." Viren tried to say something at which Vandana just patted his cheeks happily and went away.
