After having their dinner, everyone started moving towards the dance floor. The lights got dimmed down a bit and the dj began to play catcy bollywood songs. Viren, Nivi, Tani and Anurag who were busy in group discussion about something, started moving their feet clearing enjoying the music still sitting comfortably on the sofa. Viren looked at his beautiful wife, seating besides him on the sofa and started admiring her beauty. Nivi who was holding Viren's hand absent mindedly while giving her inputs about the topics, felt someone's pierce gaze on her. She looked around to find it's her husband Viren. He was gazing at her like his eyes were eating her up. He didn't even heard a word Anurag was saying. Sensing his gaze, Nivi lowered her eyes blushing to roots of her beautiful hairs. She tried to move her hand away but Viren kept on holding her hand tightly.
Anurag and Tani who were witnessing the eye talk of the couple sitting in front of then laughed together silently. Tani signaled Anurag to take Nivi away from Viren. Nodding at her, Anurag got up and went towards Nivi. Viren only came back from his dreamland when Anurag asked Nivi for a dance and Nivi agreed for it. Unwillingly, Viren freed Nivi's hand from his grip. They both started dancing while smiling at each other. Viren was still lost in his thougts when Tani snapped her fingers in front of his face. '"Viren !!????" Viren looked around at Tani snapping out of his thoughts. "huh?"
"What's wrong with you?" questioned Tani folding her hands and placing them around her front, looking irritated. "Get to the point Tani, you know I don't like your round and confusing way of talking." Viren snapped at her.
Tani narrowed her eyes at Viren "Why didn't you proposed Nivi till now when you are heels over head in love with her?"
Words sank in his mind and he gulped. Oh god, what am I going to answer now? Did she got to know about his plan? No way, if she would have got to know about his plan, she didn't have asked this question.
"Ummm...things like this takes time Tani? " Viren answered looking a bit scared.
"Since when a proposal got classified under 'things' Viren?" Tani was shocked to hear his answer.
Viren looked at Nivi who was laughing on something that Anurag told her, clearly enjoying her dance and whispered "I will tell her soon." Feeling a bit relieved with the answer, she let out her breath which she was holding back till now. "Thank god my best buddy isn't like my stupid fiance." They both smiled at each other. Viren stood up looking determined and went off towards the dance floor. He caught Nivi's hand and took her away from Anurag. Anurag kept calling him but he ignored her. When they came a bit away from Tani and Anurag, Viren left her hand and looked back at Nivi "stay here and don't move."
Soon the music was off and the dj made an announcement "guys we have a special request from someone. So please step aside from the dance floor and welcome the 'very-much-in-love' couple."
The lights went off next moment. Nivi felt Viren's touch on her hand and they moved towards the dance floor. "Viren you made that request?" Nivi spoke with amusement in her voice.
Viren didn't replied anything. The spot light focused on them. Everyone was curious to see the couple and when they saw Viren and Nivi, they sighed in awe. Indeed they were 'very-much-in-love' couple. Everyone noticed their love throughout the evening.
The music started playing slowly. Viren caught Nivi's hand and placed it around his neck. He caught her other hand and intertwined her fingers with his and drew her closer to his body.
They started dancing according to the rhythm of the song. It was a very romantic song and their favorite as well.

Viren leaned towards Nivi and whispered in her ears "I wanted to dance with my wife on my favorite song." Nivedita blushed and looked up to see a naughty smirk on his face. He soon started lip syncing the song.

Viren again whispered "by the way you shouldn't have told Tani about the proposal thing. You know she is such a tantrum queen." Nivedita felt embarrassed. Sensing this, Viren again spoke "But I am glad you did." Nivi saw him smiling at her.

Viren stepped a bit holding Nivi's hand and made her twirl a bit. He grabbed her hands from the back and made her rest her head on his chest peacefully. Placing his hands around her stomach, he inhaled her scent resting his chin on Nivi's shoulder, hiding his face in her long and thick hairs. Nivi rested her arms over his hands.

He slowly brought her hands around his neck and led her down, her long hairs almost touching the floor. He kept looking at her and whispered "do you remember our rain dance?"
She blushed remembering the dance they did earlier and hugged him hiding her face. He straightened up holding her protectively in his arms.
