Salim Sulaiman Music have re-released Yeh Love Nahin To Kya Hai on their channel, under the name Piya O Piya. Probably they see Pawandeep and Arunita as drawing viewees to their channel. I say this because they have earlier done this with Pawandeep's Jai Ho Bhole and Hanuman Chalisa, as well as the duet Keh Do.
A long interview but the highlight is a one liner that only Pawandeep can come up with 😄

Salim Merchant announces the next song with Pawandeep which was recorded a few days back. Earlier just the fact that it was recorded was announced.
Today Salim Merchant has posted that as a birthday gift the song is being launched today with the release of the poster. The tune is a Salim Sulaiman tune but the arrangement and production is by Pawandeep.

Nihal's new song is out now on T-Series.
The music by Pranshu Jha is very pleasing, and Nihal's voice is like silk! During Idol, he was the one whose growth and development was maximum over the course of those 75-odd weeks, and he continues to excel even now.

Ye Honsla. An 18 year old song from the movie Dor, composed by Salim Sulaiman and sung by Shafqat Amanat Ali.
Now Salim Sulaiman have released a reprise version by Pawandeep. The tune is the same, but the musical arrangement and production is by Pawandeep himself. Primarily acoustic guitar.
The original had a little bit of classical touch considering Shafqat Amanat Ali is skilled in that. That is not Pawandeep's forte and to that extent this song has been sung differently.
Having said that, Pawandeep does full justice to the lyrics and mood of this song. Combined with that, the video directed Yuvraj Verma and shot by Rohan Kapri (we've seen this duo on most of the Musiq Pie songs) is also very apt. In between the long shots of Uttarakhand, the video tells a story that is in line with the lyrics.
Salim Merchant has been effusive in his praise for Pawandeep - both in the announcement reel on IG as well as in the video description, and I feel it is justified.
