Well, one way to look at it is that the 84 episodes got her to the finale. Then there where 3 rounds in the finale, with elimination supposed to be done after each of the first 2. At the end of the first round the judges said no eliminations, but we will eliminate 2 after the second round. So 3 contestants went into the 3rd and final round, where she sang this and scored the winning marks over the other two.

Partly agree.

As far as I know from internal sources, the senior Zee Bangla SRGMPA shows use a bench of judges to reach the Top finalists.

Usually, there is a guest Judge (sometimes 2) in the Finals.

I was told by an anchor that whatever happens up to the lead up to the Finals is history. It influences judges, but the Finale Day performance(s) is everything in Zee Bangla. If you flop in the Finals you can't win even if you are a hot favourite.

The invitee judges (for the Finals) have a lot of power. This year KK and Shankar M chose a least likely winner when there was at least one or two hot favourites based on season performance.

Not saying that is the case with Arunita's competition because I really don't know how kids are graded for the final result, but just saying that things are not as cut-and-dried in ZEE Bangla competitions. And there is no guarantee that what the anchor told me is correct. Usually, favourites win, especially if the most influential panel judge arranges to have a friend over as guest judge. Read Shantanu Moitra and Shreya Ghoshal. Shantanu is a regular panel judge and his great friend Shreya a finals judge. Shantanu's favourite is on a winning ride then :)

Yes she sang so amazingly well in-spite of the confusion that she got the best performer award for this episode. The judges comments were delight to hear (what I can gather even though not a Bengali)
The gentlemen guest judge was very perceptive in his appreciation. He said something that I feel is very true for Aru .. is-spite of the confusion, the way she recovered is a sign of a champion and that she was a champion. It was the way he said is still stuck with me.
this episode and the others where she took on some of the toughest renditions and delivered brilliantly made me believe that Aru is very gutsy, a risk taker, not afraid where music is concerned.
She will continue to surprise us and no one dare put her in a genre box

All 4 judges vote. So, hard to say. And Asha may not have been voting at all that day. She was not on the Judge's Chair. In the other shows voting judges sit together.
Like I said, I am not certain as I have watched few Bengali Kid's Reality shows. Don't know how they work.
