It was small tribute I think. Don't remember if it was telecasted or not.

The thing about great singing talent is that they also bring out the best from the accompanying musicians.
Idol 12 was a resounding success because of not only singers like Aru but the accompaniment that Sony put together.

On numerous occasions when Arunita sang it was evident that the accompaniment was at a different level!

She sang that song in the Javed Akhtar episode. For that episode, the promo also had Saagar Kinaare which they edited out in the episode.

I couldn't find this in the Maa episode which was telecast. Typical Sony - show it in promos to get the audience excited and leave it out in the actual telecast episode.
