But whatever the thought process, this is the 5th video of the pair out of a total of 17 that he has uploaded. I think he was being very honest when he told Arunita in one of his final comments that he was so proud that they had picked her up at the audition.

It now appears that most of the people who made the cut this year were actually invited by TCT. Danish and Sahil have openly said so. Aru's parents keep repeating that they asked her to apply. That possibly means she came without reference and with just her voice and past achievements as qualification.

I feel it was entirely possible that a nervous Ar (by her own admission) could have missed selection. Perhaps, HR was the man who saw beyond the script and the nervousness. What Vishal said was scripted after the event. A lot happens before the final take.

I would like to believe the above. 'Kuch to tha' in HR's mind that evening when he was speaking to Arunita. His eyes spoke the truth.

Reg. Danish and Sahil - I have missed this! That is a revelation about the way this program is run, for me!

Reg. audition - wasn't it Vishal and Neha who said we would like to give you a second chance? Of course, personally, I was surprised to see Sayli get a golden mic and Arunita be told to take a second chance. I had felt Sayli as a regular "good" singer, but Arunita to be outstanding.

Danish spoke about the fact that he initially refused the invitation but changed his mind later. It is in an interview he gave post Idol. I can't remember if it was on YT or IG. YT more likely.

Like I said, Vishal's I don't know. Could be for our consumption considering how badly he reacted to her songs in the show. In fact he is the only one to have said that she has to learn to sing to tune. I mean! Arunita! Tune! How bad can you be as a judge or how biased. He had judged Sayli before and had a soft corner for her. And he was gaga over SMP and Anjali. So Aru had to go as far as he was concerned!

HR said nothing but was the most appreciative during the singing. Maybe his comments were deleted.

Also I feel the speed of the audio and video has been increased by about 10% or so.

Had started liking it anyways after few hearings but this version is even better

I listened to both versions simultaneously. The new one is faster and addresses some of the breaks that the earlier one suffered from. Overall it is a better sounding piece than the original. It is also shorter because of the faster pace.

But yeah - this is such an important item that we didn't think about!! Milestone!! The fledgling is now all set to leave the nest and fly out into the wide world!!
