I don't remember having heard this folk song much. Is it actually popular in the strictly traditional garbaa in Vadodara?
Dont know about Baroda but it's pretty popular elsewhere..I haven't seen this city's navratri much. As far as I remember there's a bollywood version too. Let me look up
poor girl. I think she has regard for him. So what if she forgets to publicly wish him on his birthday. Maybe she sent roses and a card! π
The chocolate cake was too tempting and she could not resist herself. And it seemed like it could melt......so, not her fault. π€£

You need to go and teach her! She may not know garbaa. Wouldn't even have heard of "hinch".
Garba bhi hota hai is par.
Had seen in one tv soap long back...u give any song and the family would do garba steps on thatπ€£
Apni Aru ne to dance seekha hua hai..and with choreographers around she will pick up.

Okay. Since you said you are there this year, check out if United Way of Vadodara's garba are happening this year - and make it a point to visit it.
Best wishes for that to happen some day ππΌ

Isn't happening..kahan 400 people ka cap aur kahan hazaron ki bheed. Many residential apartments r celebrating for themselves this year..no commercial ones.
Have seen United Way once and it was amazing.
Some memories for u. Don't know where u stay but if u r missing the fun this is nostalgia

Trivia: It's Jethalal's ringtone in Taarak Mehta which gave it much recognition π

Originally she had just said she is excited about this song coming today and she is lucky or blessed or something to sing with Sonu Nigam sir. And then thanked Jitul Boro, the lyricist and a couple of others. But she only tagged Sonu Nigam and Jitul Boro. This is not exact but more or less the gist. It was a very short post, like something she would have typed out on her own.
This sounds more personal
