This seems to be "inspired" by a traditional Gujarati folk song. Here's one version I found from 2008 and I am sure there are others too. There are recent versions too which are more like "disco dandiya".

In changing the lyrics to make it their song, they have removed all Gujarati words, more or less.

Sometimes this trick works well with target audience as the beat has familiarity. Acceptance is faster.
