There was a popular show about a dark skinned young woman on tv years ago ? I forgot what it was called. She was the heroine and it dealt with the prejudices she faced and how she rose above it ..and succeeded in life. Was it called Saloni? ...I’m not sure. Anyway I think the actress who played the lead in this show is playing the lead in a show called Shaadi Mubarak on Starplus ...💁🏻♀️
yes she’s very good as his crazy mother ..in fact the acting is good by all the cast,..maybe that’s why it’s getting trps also. The male lead is playing the psycho very well. It’s just that the story doesn’t fit in with our 2020 thoughts ...where we are raising daughters to be smart educated independent women ..and now girls are not rushing into marriages as well.. yes male lead character can be negative too.in this show doli armaano ki the ML was negative he was abusive husband and a cheater.FL lead keeps tolerating the abuses but finally she stand up for herself and leaves her husband becomes independent.she lost faith in love and marriage but finally finds happiness with the parellel lead.he was exactly like our ishaan even his name was also ishaan accepts the FL's son as his own.Originally posted by: Indira1211

...lol..I don’t think I contribute to tv trps as I’m an overseas audience ,.but I think there’s lots of people like me in India ..who watch choti sardhani, then Shakti and barrister babu..and their TVS are still on when pinjara starts ..so it gets trps too,..😂
I used to watch doli Armaano ki..I liked that show ...the ML Mohit Malik played kulfis father. I was so disappointed when Ishaan in Doli was killed ..I really wanted Urmi to get the marital happiness she had always wished for..
