The actor's former co-stars lavish praise on his achievement

Thakur Anoop Singh, who is known across the TV industry as Dritarashtra from Mahabharat won gold at a World Bodybuilding Meet held in Bangkok. The six foot tall muscular man defeated 70 contestants from 40 countries to bring home the title. He was amongst the 11 Indians who won in various categories.

Anoop had finished third at the Mr Asia Championships held recently. A proud man, he hoped that his win inspired Indians to make fitness a way of life. BollywoodLife spoke exclusively to Aham Sharma, his co-star from Mahabharat, who played Karn said, "My heartiest congratulations to Anoop. He is a very dedicated guy when it comes to fitness. Even when we shot for Mahabharat, he would work out regularly on the sets. Well done bro!"
