Riu...after Sati's death Shiva would be broken and would be determined to take his beloved wife's avenge from Daksh. but you know what here two contrasting scenes are being put. AFter Sati's death Kartik and Ganesh both were in the room where Sati's body had been kept. Suddenly Ganesh saw Sati's image in front of him which was drenched in blood. SHe asked him to take her revenge and remember her death. At the same time Kartik saw her mother's normal beautiful image where she advised him not to take her revenge. She tod him to remember how she lived and what she taught to him. You know why these two different vision they got at a time...Ganesh was composed and cool but also had over possessiveness and unbound love for Sati...he always longed her as his mother but never got enough. But as he was also a very knowledgable person he knew what was right and what was wrong...on the other hand Kartik always got his mother;s love, care, attention.That is why he saw her mother's normal form and realized what his mother had told him to do...
Same thing is happened with us...as we are mesmerized by MRs as Shiv and Sati...every aspect of the name Shiv and Sati we imagine only them. And that is why we feel so much pain...but you know what sometime pain is good because it gives you power to learn and achieve...so ...read the rest of part and tell me what do you learn form this Shiva Trilogy??
