@iamsrk : While hosting Filmfare Awards on Sunday,
Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan repeatedly said
they were back with their 'low-end' and 'cheap' jokes,
and they lived by their words when Shah Rukh asked
Saif where were the girls from yesterday meaning the
heroines of yesteryears. Saif wanted to know whether
he was inquiring about the whereabouts about the
girls they rehearsed with yesterday. "No, no, from
yesterday I meant guzrahuakal..." said Shah Rukh.
Minutes before Saif joined him on stage, Shah Rukh
said that since he wanted to dominate the show, he
had sent Saif and Kareena on their long honeymoon
until March as he wanted to be alone with the Black
Lady. He referred to Kareena as Kareena Kapoor
Khan Pataudi... "Kaafi lamba naam ho gaya hai na,
Saif."
Further while talking about the modern and powerful
women like the ones portrayed in Mother India and
Deewar where the screen mothers went against their
screen sons for their unlawful activities (Nargis's
character shoots down her screen son played by
Sunil Dutt in Mother India), Saif remarked that his
mother Sharmila Tagore wanted to kill him when she
watched his film Agent Vinod.
Further, when Saif wondered why Katrina didn't turn
up at the event as she was supposed to perform, SRK
said, "Katrina is not here because she is not
nominated." "Guess she will perform because she
has been remunerated," chuckled Saif.
When Madhur Bhandarkar's joke didn't find any
audience while announcing the winner in Supporting
role (Female category), SRK told Madhur to not to try
hands at humour and continue making serious films
like Heroine.
When Raveena Tandon who came to give away the
Best story award to Juhi Chaturvedi for Vicky Donor,
she told SRK - "When I see you my heart skips a beat."
At which Saif promptly remarked, "And on seeing me
you just skip a beat, is it?
