Imagine's upcoming show Rakta Sambandh, produced by
UTV Telly Talkies is turning out to be the next big show with a huge star cast.
TellyBuzz has been giving you exclusive news on the cast finalized for the show.
As reported earlier, the show is the tale of five sisters. Bhairavi Gupte, Sayantani Ghosh,
Daljit Kaur,
Sonali Nikam have been finalized to play the sisters. However, there is still a question mark on the actor to play the youngest sister.
We had earlier reported that
Sriti Jha and Anjum Farooki were in the reckoning for the youngest sister's role. Later on, it looked as though Panchi Bora of
Kayamath fame was selected. However, the channel and production house are continuing the hunt even now, as they want the actor to look the age of an 18 year old.
We had earlier reported that
Sachin Chabra of
Meri Doli Tere Angana fame has been short listed to play the main lead in the show, and will be seen opposite the youngest sister.
The latest is that
Sachin Shroff who was last seen in Imagine's
Pati Patni aur Woh along with his wife
Juhi Parmar, will play one of the leads.
Manish Raisinghania who was last seen in
Star One's Hum Dono Hai Alag Alag will play one more lead in the show.
Prashant Chawla who was last seen in
Zee TV's
Teen Bahuraniyaan will also play a lead.
According to our source, "The pair of Sayantani Ghosh and
Sachin Shroff who was last seen together in
Zee TV's Naaginn will be again paired up in this show.
Daljit Kaur will be paired with
Prashant Chawla.
Manish Raisinghania and
Sonali Nikam who were seen together in Hum Dono Hai Alag Alag will again come together yet again with this show.
Sachin Chabra has been finalized to play the main lead in the show. However, the female lead is not yet finalized".
When contacted,
Sachin Shroff confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I am part of the show. But I can't divulge details as of now".
Prashant Chawla too admitted that he is doing the show, but refused to talk in detail.
We tried calling
Manish Raisinghania, but he remained unavailable.
Adi Irani,
Rinku Karmarkar, Vishnu Sharma, Vibha Chibber, Nishigandha Wagh are also part of the show.
