After a short hiatus showman Subhash Ghai is back with a vengeance. He's currently concentrating on Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor starrer Yuvraj. The other day we caught up with him when he was shooting in his acting school in Filmcity. "Just sit next to me and watch me shooting, so that you get an idea how difficult its to shoot a film," Subhash Ghia says "It's one year of hard work and when the my film will get released on Friday, you guys will wipe it all by writing 'The Showman has lost his magic' and destroy everything. Making a film is not that easy my friend, one has to slog day and night like a dog."
Ghai also refutes the rumours floating around in the industry about a possible cold war with Salman Khan "What rubbish, I was having some healthy discussion with him and the next day someone wrote that Salman and I started fighting again. Can't a director and his actor have some difference of opinion while shooting?" he asks. But they had an argument on the set recently while shooting in Europe right? "I won't call it an argument, it's a discussion and I have had this with my other actor Anil Kapoor also. Why doesn't anyone write about it? Just because its Salman people often to write about it.
Half of the stuff media write about him, he's not even aware of it. And he read it and came to me later, arree Sirji when did it happen? He will ask me. No wonder what people say and write about Salman, it's a delight to work with him. He's still a child at heart and he doesn't even know how much he should charge for a movie. Money can't buy Salman Khan. I know there was this filmmaker who offered him an unheard price, Salman simply refused it saying "Sir, I don't think we will gel, so why do you want to offer me so much money and screw things," he says.
I simple love and adore Salman for being so blunt and honest😃
