Zayed Khan CASH-ing on his cooking skills
With a face that has set ablaze the Bollywood and the Indian endorsement industry wanting for more, this 'lucky' Khan-kid comes with a charismatic persona. Watch the handsome and an extremely talented hunk, Zayed Khan in a heart-to-heart conversation with Tarana Raja Kapoor, the host of celebrity chat show 'Let's Talk' on July 4th 2007, exclusively on Zoom.
Coming from a khandaan of veteran actors, Zayed is one guy who sports a variety of interesting feathers in his cap. From enjoying cooking, biking, singing to doing his own stunts in his movies, our home grown hunk has come a long way. He confesses that had he not belonged to a filmi family, he would have chosen to be a travel chef since he loves to cook. In fact, while shooting for his forthcoming movie CASH in Cape Town, besides acting he was busier cooking for his co-stars.
He believes that the character of 'Lucky' in MAIN HOON NA got him luck and zoomed his career graph to reach greater heights. Few know that Zayed played the character of Moyuddin in his father's epic serial – 'Tipu Sultan'. Zayed has enjoyed the thrill factor in movies since his childhood days when he would love to watch movies like Mr.India, Shehanshah, Indiana Jones to name a few.
Zayed talks extensively about how he enjoys the adrenaline rush doing his own stunts in his movies and hates body doubles being used to perform his stunts. He is excited about his breathtaking underwater stunt for his upcoming movie CASH and talks about how he had to coax director Anubhav Sinha to let him do the bike stunt in DUS. Thanks to the stunts that Zayed enjoys doing, he was injured seriously while performing the stunts in his movie SPEED that gave him an acute 'slip-disc' and got him bed ridden for 6 months.
Zayed rates himself 15 on 10 as a romantic hero and 4 on 10 as a comic hero since he finds comedy genre as the toughest in films.
When asked about his long time actress girlfriend, Malaika whom he married last year, Zayed cannot stop blushing and narrates his nothing-less-than-a-Bollywood-romantic-story of how he met his wife Malaika at school. He was around 15-16 years old and one day while listening to music at this social area called Green Flag in school, he saw this beautiful damsel, ofcourse Malaika and was instantly smitten by her. He asked his friend to give an introduction and he would be able to handle it from there. To know more, don't forget to tune into this vibrant and freewheeling episode of 'Let's Talk' with the ever flamboyant Zayed Khan… Isko Dekho!
