There will always be debate with the announcement of awards.More than Ranbir, Prithvi deserved it..I had completely forgotten about that movie of his but he has one NA so I dint mind much.

Ranbir has a long career ahead,he will get one someday..so let’s just be happy a man who deserved it for long got one this year.

Also they awarded Vikrant and SRK both so they did try to even it out.

Long due, long due. Not that NA holds the same values that it did back in the 90s anymore, I am sure every actor would want to have at least 1 in their kitty’s. I am happy that my man’s display case is now complete and the fact that how much this guy still loves his country and how much this award means to him is a plus.

As a producer, he should’ve won NA in his very first home production itself - Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani - for being the visionary that he is. I still cant believe the movie was made in mid 90s where I am living that reality for last 15 yrs on TV News channels.

As a contributor to Indian Cinema, he should’ve won it long back as well, as when the entire BW industry shifted to new types of content in early 2010s, this guy was hopelessly trying to make the industry VFX ready. Now that we see a product like Adipurush, we know it must not have been easy to try that 15 yrs back.

So happy for him.
