Awww…the feeling is mutual and thank you for explaining your stand. I understand your pov but my pov and I think what Kan is also trying to say is that by trivializing the efforts being made by the women to fight discrimination, regardless of whether we agree with it or not, it kinda waters down the conversation.

Exactly. Would strongly suggest people not to follow celebs in this aspect. There r many factors on which u choose ur role models. How they name their kids is NOT one of them. Wo log to kuch jugaad karke nikal lenge..aam insaan phans jaayega.

All govt forms n applications have a format..first name, middle name, last name. Now think how will ‘Malti Marie Chopra Jonas’ fit into this?

Ranveer has Singh as a suffix to his name and Bhavnani as a surname. Deepika is Padukone. Where is Bhavnani in Dua Padukone Singh? Its like naming Raha as Raha Bhatt Raj since Raj js a suffix to Ranbir’s name. I know people who had put a ‘Kumar’ after their first name and had to get it removed while streamlining all govt IDs.

A woman doesnt want to go through the trouble of name change after mrg coz its her identity. Understandable. But y do u want ur child to go through that hassle and identity crisis? Dont complicate. Keep it simple. A system is designed for a reason..after many trials n errors
