BB3 for sure. I'm very impressed with the promotion. You can tell that Kartik, Vidya, and Madhuri are going all out in promoting this film and having a blast. I was already interested in this movie but my hype has gone through the roof from seeing this trio having so much fun.

Vidya also noted that Kartik goes all out for promotions and that's something she connected to because she does too. People are saying online that she used to be called Lady SRK for this reason. People still talk about her Kahaani promotion pretending to be pregnant.

Meanwhile Singham Returns I feel has already fizzled out. I'm not seeing any of the big stars promoting at all. I can understand Deepika and Ranveer skipping out because of the baby, but where is everyone else? Not a single good song released either so far. The collective starpower of Ajay, Akshay, Deepika, Ranveer, and Salman's cameo will help the opening but I feel this movie will crash and burn after that. The trailer alone made me feel I've seen the movie already.

It is just unfair that a star loaded film is releasing opposite a much smaller film. Vidya and Mads has me rooting extra for this one.

Besides,Cops have lost goodwill among the public. There are not many heroic deeds reported by the media,Usually it is the common man who saves the day.I am sure there are 100s who risk their lives and many have died in the line duty, protecting us. But what we see everyday is them harassing poor, powerless people, refusing to file FIR,when rape murders are reported..custodial torture...

Bb3 is a franchise so that compensates the lack of star power. Also Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is far bigger a grosser/success than both Singham movies..

Both are franchises..which started as just HIT films as per BOI..and went on to become blockbusters.

Simmba(240 cr) and Bhool Bhulaaya 2(182 cr) were declared blockbusters.

Sooryavanshi ( 196 cr)was declared a hit even though it didn't recover its budget in India. Maybe new rules post pandemic.Budget was double of Simmbasmiley3-Akki's fees.

PVR Inox The Stumbling Block Between Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again

The screen sharing issue between Bhool Bhuliayaa 3 and Singham Again is at a stalemate at present as PVR Inox become a stumbling block differing from the others. Cinepolis and the non chains are going for a 55-45% split in the favour of Singham Again to which the makers of Bhool Bhuliayaa 3 have agreed to but PVR Inox want 60-40% and want the other chains to follow.

This is basically as PVR is also the distributors of Singham Again also so want the larger pie but 55-45% was always going to be the likely scenario when the trailers of both films came out. It was not as if one film looked far better than the other but Singham Again is the bigger film so that would give a little edge. There will be chains which will open the advances of Bhool Bhuliayaa 3 from Sunday.

The single screens will be 50-50 as its Diwali and the weekend will be houseful due to this factor so although exhibitors would normally go for a Singham Again they would not be losing out by playing on Bhool Bhuliayaa 3 and there is the Pushpa 2 card also as both Bhool Bhuliayaa 3 and Pushpa 2 is the same distributor.

Eventually this will all take of its self as adjustments will be made according to which film is getting the better occupancy. A five screener may start with 11 and 9 shows but this can all change within a day or two depending on response and the contracts go up in the air. Here its Diwali so if changes are needed it will be Monday.

It is the same for single screens as although it can be 2 shows each over the weekend but if one film is not performing in that particular single screen the exhibitor will change even though on contract they should play for the week. It is bad practice to try and get the exhibitor to hold your film when its not collecting while the other one is.

Bhool Bhulaiya 3, though I will not end up watching either of the two in theater as I am looking forward to watching Gladiator 2 in theaters in November instead.
