Yes, I agree here. Sridevi needed a man who was preferably NOT married with kids. Someone who didn't have so many rumors about killing her for her life insurance money so he can get hair implants and then even naming her "Sridevi Kapoor" in a tribute ceremony so that his last name will get more recognition.

I like Shilpa a lot but I keep reading very shady things about her which is making me feel otherwise. It sounds like she's been involved in just about every criminal enterprise that could exist and this is true even for her mother and sister. I'm wondering now how much of this is because of her husband or if she married her husband specifically because he shared the same moral values (or lack of values) as her.

We are going to be the judge , jury and the court to decide such a personal question about actors now??smiley36

Sometimes we fans know better for them as we can see objectively. Like warning SRK to stay away from PC who made up lies about him that people still believe to this day.

Why Jaya Bachchan? She married to a superstar. How much better do you expect from her?

Marriage should not be only about marrying up. It should be about two hearts joining together in one union. And I'd like to point out that Amitabh was a nobody when he married Jaya. She was the bigger star. She gave him films and opportunities through her stardom which made him big while telling her to stop working and sit at home. Abhimaan was the gender-reverse of their real life story.

Amitabh is the same one who boasted about how he only married Jaya because he wanted to go on a vacation trip with her and some friends and his father would not let him go unless he was married to her.

Shilpa Shetty made Kundra divorce his first wife and walked willingly to the aisle to marry the creep - eyes wide opened, and in full possession of her mental faculties because money trumps it all...Many scandals and controversies they individually and together keep on getting embroiled into make them apt partners for each other..

Made for each other, made like each other.. No sympathies there...

Same about Sridevi, although her motive for marrying that slimy snake was not monetary, it neither negates, nor exonerates the way she betrayed her supposed friend ( that too cancer-ridden). What she did was not only absolutely unethical but also immoral. So no sympathies there either.. She doesn't get much flak for her inhumanity because of her premature demise, but that is about it..

Jaya Bachhan, I agree with.. To experience the most unthinkable betrayal from the man who she married with when he was not as successful, and then to live everyday with the shadow of her husband's mistress looming around her life and existence perpetually- and then we wonder why she is go grumpy and bitter!! Anyone else in her place would have gone insane by now.

Feel bad for Ranveer, the way his wife goes Ga-ga over her Ex 24/7 and leaves no opportunity to emasculate him in public. smiley19

But the person whose changed the most after marriage is Abhishek Bachchan. His Twitter is all the proof one needs. From a happy go lucky dude he's become a pessimistic, grumpy old man. Its sad to see. The ice queen has certainly rubbed off on him. He's miserable, somebody free him from Amitabh's "Anushaashan" and the Ice queens Slavery.

I'm surprised you like Sushmita. She's the very unconventional type, particularly for India, never marrying and adopting children without marriage. I like her though.

I thought this was really interesting because she admits that Main Hoon Na didn't promote her before the film's release. But the audience reaction to her role in the film was so huge that from not being featured on any posters for the movie, suddenly all the promotion included her. What's more heartwarming is that she doesn't attribute this success to herself. She says its the audience who had the power to uplift her like this. And I think that's so grateful of her to say and also so true.

A lesson KJo needs to learn because before he began meddling with his nepos, it really was we the audience who had the power to make stars. This is how Mohabbatein became Aishwarya's film and she was all over the film's promotion post-release and what happened with Sushmita in Main Hoon Na as well. Nowadays, it's KJo who tells the audience who the stars are and that we have no choice to accept them because they're acting in everything now. That's backfired on him because he failed to realize that audiences will simply stop watching then. So props to Sushmita for reminding us that we the audience are the ones with the power and she's really so gracious because her Miss Chandni as an iconic role.

Lol are you not a Jackie Shroff fan. It's interesting that you highlighted both Manisha and Urmila with songs they did with Jackie.
