Don't say so in this Forum..

Maroon who has a history of ridiculing Alia (and for the right reasons) was suddenly demoted to being Alia's fan (just because he countered some of the very offensive posts wishing death and rape on her and even her infant daughter) and by default even Bira's fan..

So just accept anyone who praises her is/can never be neutral.. They are either the bots/ Alia/Kjo/Bira's PR or paid admirers bought by K Jo..smiley37

I told someone their article about Ranbir seems untrue.

They said I wasnt neutral, that I was going against them and then other people chimed in that they noticed it also. An someone had to pile on that it was because I was in stress.

There was always going to be some reckoning for what happened that day. smiley36

Actually, I wouldn't have watched Brahmastra without SRK having a cameo in his scientist role of Swades... that really intrigued me, especially when seeing that he was pictured with the Vanarastra aura. When I watched the movie (then) in a theatre, I really got impressed by the VFX work but lost interest in the plot (and also found Amitji's cameo quite weak). Still, I liked Ranbir in that (again) man-child role and also the display of - metaphysical - forces. To give Alia's role substance, I really suspected, that Brahmastra 2 would show her as a villain who has only pretended love & caring while working on Dev's side (with Junoon). But no...Ayan simply had been blinded by personal emotions against Alia....and Alia desperately tried to show a couple in love... what a waste of creative talent and money...

I've just read this and I'm a little alarmed. I never followed anything about Brahmastra because the entire film was something I had zero interest in besides hearing about which celebs had cameos. But this is the first time I'm hearing that SRK's cameo was not just a new character but actually his Swades character. Please tell me this isn't true. Is he actually reprising his Mohan character from Swades or is he just playing a character with the same name or character?

It's meant as the Swades character (aged, of course)...Ayan loves Swades...I also found it quite strange...

Oh dear, that's very disappointing to hear. A classic like Swades should be left untarnished. Having that character be referenced in a disastrous film like this really taints the film's legacy. And there's absolutely no connection. Swades is not a blockbuster type film. Brahmastra is a visual effects heavy fantasy film trying to copy the Marvel comic book formula. Two genres as far away from each other as possible. Maybe Ayan meant it as a loving homage to a film he deeply cares for, but somehow I doubt that's true for KJo.

I don't know who I'm more disappointed in. What I'm shocked is that SRK agreed to this. He should have said no, his Swades characters is off-limits. He's usually a great guardian for his movies and iconic roles so I don't know what possessed him to agree to this. Was it just out of friendship for KJo and goodwill towards Dharma? It feels like everyone got together to prostitute Mohan's character and sell him to the highest bidder. I feel profoundly disappointed in learning this because I never thought SRK would agree to such a b@stardization of such a beloved character. I feel let down by SRK that he did this to himself and to his fans.

And this KJo, I hold mostly responsible. I don't think it was possible for him to drop even further in my eyes but hearing this, I'm convinced he did this to shame and embarrass SRK. Why SRK agreed for a spineless snake like KJo, I don't know. SRK had the perfect excuse to refuse to even cameo in this film saying he didn't feel comfortable letting the Swades character live on beyond the original film. But this KJo must have known how hurtful this decision would be and still he forced this on everyone. If this man dropped dead today, I would not shed a tear. I've come to the point that any goodwill I ever had for him is burnt away. He has no redeeming qualities and is truly wicked. Every so often, I would remember the old KJo and feel sympathy for him but this news was the last straw.

Thank you for confirming this though. I think I'm going to be very down for the next few days, but I'd rather hear the truth.
