Good trailer. Song brings out those emotions actually.. brilliant idea to put it in. Has Vedang really sang it? If yes wow! Was waiting for Vedang to appear but alas not much seen here. Goodluck!

Sorry. Not up to the mark.

I think what’s missing for me is the brother sister chemistry, it’s just not there, at least not naturally.

Also, Alia’s dead-pan facial expressions are not working either, if she’s supposed to be in extreme pain or sorrow, it’s not translating well.

Film could still work if the budget is low. Otherwise it’s quite meh. This should’ve been an OTT release

What was missing was brother sister scenes in the teaser. There was hardly any. With that song playing they should have shown more brother sister scenes. It would have connected more. Only first dialogue tells us it is about siblings story. Otherwise Vedang Alia scenes except one were not there. It seem more like an action movie than brother sister story.

Basically if you put a good song with clips it is gonna be liked cos song words + music brings out emotions but they should have attached more of Alia Vedang scenes to those for connection to the song.

Yeah I don’t think the makers are that smart to make that kind of connection. This is a key part of a sibling story.

I also wasn’t impressed with Vedang, I thought he’d be alot better than whatever I saw

True. Something is missing here. The acting and brother-sister relation seems mechanical. Hype is also missing unlike Gangubai.

This movie seems like an agenda for Alia to get another series of awards or maybe to fulfill her desire to do solo action movie. But I doubt it will work at BO.

Imo, there is no harm in trying to do female centric movies. Gangubai wasn't that bad (although I felt that Alia's casting wasn't convincing in that role). In the contrary, I liked Darlings very much - all the four main protagonists had been convincing...to me, the movie even has repeat-viewing value.

Now Jigra is the third one. I don't care for what reason she plays as long as she gives a performance with which I can connect. She definitely has the potential if the director focusses on the character portray. Ayan let her down...and Karan, too (or more exactly: Ayan ridiculed her and Karan wasted her).

Edit: I forgot Dear Zindagi which had been Alia's first woman-centric movie...(would like Gauri Shinde to make a movie again...)
