It is hard to believe the film was released with limited 16 prints(If I recall correct). It was a festive occasion, I have never seen anything like that for any film. I guess it is also the film with most recorded footfalls in the history of Indian Cinema. It is also one of the few films in which Lata gave playback to Madhuri Dixit, else it was usually Alka Yagnik who gave playback to Madhuri Dixit.

I’ve only watched this movie once and not in the theater. I know the buzz it created but it wasn’t on my radar smiley9
