Bad Newz sees a HUGE drop in collections with 50%-70% down

Bad Newz saw a drop in collections on its third Friday with collections of 50-55 lakhs nett which is almost 50% down from the Thursday. The film had a drop in showcasing and also had competition from a Punjabi film in East Punjab which is by far its best circuit but now is 70% down from last Friday.

The film stands at around 56.50 crore nett now and will end with business of around 61-62 crore nett due to this drop on the third Friday. Overall an AVERAGE fare saved by the initial weekend.

BTW ....Tauba tauba is the new party anthem....recently attended a party where young kids danced on this song...

BOGO can only help this much but yeah otherwise this movie is a total washout!

Vicky is just not mainstream romantic hero material from any angle at all! He should stick to his unglamorous roles like those low-budget, niche offbeat films like Masaans and Sardar Udhams to name a few because these are the kind of genres where he looks the most comfortable.

He looks out of place in glamorous roles in commercial movies as it was shown in Bad Newz 🤷‍♂️ Vicky simply lacks the good looks, urban aura and sophisticated charm to look convincing as the stylish commercial romantic hero in mainstream films!

This is YOUR opinion and not a fact. Everyone is going crazy over Tauba Tauba and that’s literally the reason the film got a big boost. It’s the number one chartbuster right now. Even Hrithik Roshan appreciated Vicky, and so I think your point is invalid and incorrect.

Also lots of people do find Vicky hot, and that’s okay cuz everyone has their own choices and preferences

Bad Newz didn’t become a huge hit because of the script and execution. Otherwise both Vicky and Tripti did well.
