There is only one version. Lot of misinformation about the film. It's an extremely well made film that blends a soldiers life on base with their personal lives. War is only the last half an hour and it's mostly just action. I think you might be mistaking it for LOC which did in fact have a lot of Gaaliyan.
I think I mistaken it for another war movie LOC.
Sorry about that. :)
Yes you are. And also it’s war. Phool thodi barsenge? Log mar rahe hai aur aapko gaali ki padi hai? When the emotions are high you expect people to speak respectfully to each other? Both the sides used the language that the other side understands well….
Yes, it's war.
Another patriotic movie where the enemy (Pakistan) is in greater number than the border-defending Indians ... the Pakistani are guided by a very bad man (a thug hired by Pakistani military). Almost all the nice Indians die (also a lot of Pakistani , but they did wrong in crossing the border, didn't they?) - except the main hero and some others (who deplore the human losses on both sides).
What conflict between Indians and Pakistani will they show now in Border 2 with the spirit that still reigns in India...will there be now dialogues instead of killing bullets???
Oui, the other one is the Kargil war movie with Ajay...well, maybe, after Raid 2 and another ....2 film (don't know the name anymore) he will make LOC 2...one never knows...

@ bold: it was shown that way because that was how it was in reality as the Indian army high command didn’t expect the attack from that particular point and so they didn’t assign a big troop. If you watched the movie, it was addressed right there.
About what the sequel will be, i guess we have to wait and watch.

Yes, I know, but the crux had been the time of attack as at night, they had to fight it all alone...they would have lost it completely if they would not have got the aerial help (that support wasn't possible in the dark).
Btw., I didn't want to demean anything...my take was that the war movies (in general) reinforce the ennemy thinking and hail the dying as a duty to the homeland. At least, in Border, there had been regret for all the human losses. (That's why I'm curious about the Border 2-story.)

Trying to disregard the film by implying it's fiction when it's based on a true story, one of the greatest acts of bravery in Indian Army history, by Kuldeep Singh & his 120 men. This is why half knowledge is bad, kids.
Who says you hang your boots @65. Sunny seems to be at the peak of his career once again. What an inspiration 🙌
Hope it’s not bw propaganda movie n nice patriotic movie .
