There is no continuation of story. J&J both are from India that are going abroad to pursue dreams. Neeru to pursue a fashion degree. Diljit to become a chef. (Well, basically start small. Then open up his own business and marry a Canadian girl to become a citizen) They face a lot of hurdles in Canada like many international students from India. They end up getting stuck together sometimes under the same roof and sometimes doing the same part-time job. The USP is the nok jhok between the two characters. They are always fighting in the most comedic way. Somehow they end up really bonding and falling in love.

Jatt and Juliet 2 an Indian cop (Diljit) goes to the Canada undercover and meets Neeru a Canadian cop. They have to do a mission together. But Diljit has also been sent to Canada for ulterior motives he can not reveal to Neeru. Although these issues very much involve her and will break her heart when she finds out. Again the USP is the comedic nok jhok between the two characters. Once again somehow get stuck together and end up falling in love.

There is always a different story with the same USP. Which is the nok jhok between two completely different types of characters.

They are available on Chaupal. It is pretty cheap. Only around 4.99 a month.

I came across this song on YouTube a few days ago and have been listening to it on loop. Didn’t even know it there was a movie called Jatt & Joliet.

Trailer looks funny but unfortunately I can’t understand it (don’t understand the song either but I love the beat and flow of music).

She did go to Bollywood to do "Prince" decades ago, but absolutely regrets it.. there is a long interview discussing how she felt very uncomfortable, culturally it was very different.. the Punjabi community took a while to forgive her and she had to apologize many times 😬 But that's in the past.. she is basically the Queen of Punjabi cinema and very well respected now ♥️

Well this is real Punjabi... not the rubbish you hear in Bollywood. In the latter they just pretend to be speaking it.. but in fact it's Hindi/Urdu with one or two Punjabi words thrown in 😆
