This is very unfair towards men. Aise to shadi karna matlab apni mehnat ki kamayi lut jaane ka risk Lena 🤷

If he really did this then he's a smart man 👍

Could be a cheap PR gimmick to generate sympathy for Pandya.

Rumors hain sirf

India mein there is no law which gives the wife 50% of the property let alone 70%

You can get monthly maintenence from the "income" of the husband (not his assets/property) or both parties may agree to one time settlement instead of monthly payment

The maintenence amount is subject to lots of restrictions and it can be maximum 25% of income as per supreme court... And that too is rarely given...

You might pay more sometimes for example as hush money if your wife knows something damning about you or because you want them to quickly sign the papers and not drag it out... That is out of mutual consent not bec some law

A rumor that started on the internet and spread on social media, and then bigger accounts and maybe even some mainstream media accounts picked up on it. Then people started with the 70% stuff, which just sounds laughably false, but it was enough to rile up all the misogynists on twitter. But not a single word from any of the actual parties involved in this wildfire of a gossip mound.
